Meanwhile... down the hole you pushed Juliet down...

She wakes up to find a bomb next to her... really, there is only one thing she could do, smash it to bits... unfortunetly in this universe the metal which fell after her landed awkwardly and has crushed her legs and the bomb is too far out of reach... so she just lies there as blood fills her lungs...

Suffice to say after the problems we had with this game, there was no way we were going through it again. If CB had said yes to the bomb blowing up then Amished would have died, a white light would have enveloped the two, the thread would have been locked until Episode 1 of the next Series.(or for a few days) Zoneace would still have won though.

So, I want to see the whole setup and theory behind it, but from what I have seen so far this game was doomed from the start. I'm not knocking you Porochaz, cause I think you were trying something ambitious, but I don't see how this was expected to be a balanced or fair game in any way.

In short, the game was very ambitious especially considering my last one. The game should have been fine overall if I had been on as much as I was at the start and the end. The scum were underpowered. However I had trouble working out how I was going to make them stronger. Version 1 had Kate as scum, and her question which gave her a 1 shot vig made it more balanced but when I went to version 2, the question didnt get changed...

Allow the last scum to roleblock and kill if they started as the roleblocker would've helped.

Scum actually got unlucky. Locke was a scum traitor if both Locke and Ben(if had recieved the first question I wrote out, due to Locke already being dead he got the second question) had answered there questions in a certain way. No matter what if Locke had survived to day 2 he would of had a 50% chance of beign scum.

Still, there were too many confirmed townies, as well as a doc/cop combo.

Cop also switches after N1 negating the pro-scum action of getting the cop to claim and can roleblock. If Santos didn't do anything, he'd be confirmed cop, we'd have to find the doc and cop again even if we found the cop D1. Psych finds SK, sk is cleared (and protected on multiple nights). We targeted him the night that he turned non-SK.

SK then gets cleared. If ZA didn't say anything, he could easily (and did) skate to a win. With that combination of traits in the game, even with 3 scum we'd be PoE'd to nothing and the SK would skate to an easy win. There were too many targets to NK, flat out.

SK had major advantage to become confirmed and then become SK again, that's all I'm going to say about that. That's simply a ridiculous option to put into a game...especially since you gave him UNK-ability TWICE. I don't see how you didn't see that as a problem when writing the setup.

There is no way that town should lose when the SK is found, has a cop and doc (which is another no-no), and has one of the scum claim scum.

I also didn't like the fact that the questions near the end gave people clear options apparently. That is, ZA choosing to become SK again and Reck getting to choose who he wants to kill. My question was "do you want to read Hurley's suicide note". I had no clue what was going to be the outcome either way I answered with that.

Out of curiosity, was this game reviewed beforehand?

Let me clarify. The fact that I got a second UNK was a lie. I was told that if I chose to become the SK again and the UNK had been used up i wouldn't get a new one but that if it hadn't I would get it back.

Well ok, but regardless it is still a bunch of shit to allow the SK to regain abilities after being converted and confirmed. Even if it had been earlier in the game, you could have just not killed until the night before lylo and then got the win that way. Plus, any game that allows for a prisoner's dilemma is broken, imo.

I'm not a fan, no. However, this game particularly encouraged it, which is fucking ridiculous. I know you won, so you are of course going to have a bias toward it, but objectively speaking the game was not balanced at all. Scum team had no chance unless Mafia Traitor came to their side and town lost despite most everything going in their favor. Not exactly an equal opportunity from the start.
