Well, I'm sorry for my inactivity, my only excuse is that CEBM was moving so damn fast. My newbie games have suffered as well. I must say, I'm very happy with the way that Exe's lynch turned out. We essentially lost dead weight, so Exe's sainthood didn't harm us very much.So, rereading the game, I see a few things that imply that certain people knew Exe's role. First, there's Zajnet. At the beginning he says, "You forgot super saint in your sig claim, AGar, xD" or something to that affect. I don't know about you, but SS isn't a role that immediately comes to mind for me. Possibly he had recently had his memory jogged? Granted, it's just as possible that he was looking at the roles page. So I'm doubtful of this one.

Actually, in a game that I'm in on another site, someone claimed to be a supersaint. Vezok's not in that game, but he does play on that site with me. (@Vezok: it was kpaca who claimed it, in a basic.) That's what made me think of it as a lolsy claim. Especially when paired with unlynchable xD.

About the Vezok issue, I have reason to believe that he is actually VT. A second jester is technically possible, but vezok always plays like this xD.

Is it just me or is PGO a good claim for a scum who doesn't want to be targeted by a cop? AGar hasn't seemed very scummy, but it is still a possibility.

I try not to just throw my vote around. I like to wait until I'm as sure as I can be, given the situation. My HoS was meant to say that I'm *this* close to voting, but not just yet. I needed a little bit more info. Unfortunately, Espeon struck before that information could be gotten.

@AGar: Your claim is interesting. While it does keep town PR's from touching you, you also just removed a chance for the mafia to hit you. I suppose it ends up nulling out in the end.

Of course, you could also be lying. For one, you could be a mafia-aligned PGO, which would prevent any definitive read on you (but then, why would you tell us? So this option is pretty much off the table.) Or you could just be another scum role (or something that shows up scum, anyway) looking for protection from investigation. I'm unsure where I think you lie on this one, AGar.

Think of it optimistically: You didn't get killed by the supersaintness because you weren't quite ready to vote yet. I for one don't really find you scummy for that HoS.

Another point about AGar is that we won't expect him to get NKd, so at some point we have a hard decision to make about lynching him, especially close to or at LyLo.
However, lets assume for a minute that he is town. The correct way to play PGO is to try to get NKd. As in, find a reason to claim cop or doc or something. Claiming PGO as town just puts the town in an awkward situation, with the only plus be that town PRs won't accidentally target him.
Which brings me to the fact that he could be mafia trying not to get investigated.

I think we should lynch AGar now. Best case, he's scum. Worst case, we eliminate something that

get in the way in a LyLo situation.

If the town agrees to lynch me, I'm not going to fight it. I realize that I am a liability no matter what. I tried to downplay some of that liability by the claim. However, I would like to ask that my lynch be pushed back as far as possible and the town takes plenty of time to look at other players, so that you have something to go off of on D3. We made out well with lynching Exe D1, but the speed of the lynch did us no favors for the following days. We need information. A quicklynch on me as well is only going to hurt the town and aid the mafia in going by unnoticed. Policy lynching me is also going to result in no reliable vote data from today. At least take every other step possible to set up for successful days following.

Actually, the more I think about it, we shouldn't lynch you. If we ever get close to deadline with no good lynch target and we're not in LyLo, we'll lynch you then. I am worried that come lylo, we won't know if you're town or lying scum, and we have no way to confirm it without risking one of us.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. If we (the town) tell him who to target, then he could be an asset. However, since we don't know that normal town abilities are town, he could be a scum bus driver or not a bus driver at all.

Don't expect much explanation out of millar. I think I see where he's coming from though. Mitsuru is saying that it is dangerous to let him fall under the control of the scum, which can't happen in a democratic decision, as scum are less than the majority at any given point in time.

I wasn't worried about scum (or anyone else for that matter) quickhammering, and I wanted to garner reactions, specifically from vezok. I don't believe quadz is scum, but if y'all want to lynch him because of his claim, be my guest. I have reason to believe that vezok really is vanilla, but the way he's been acting is really scummy, so he could be a goon. I'll support his lynch, simply because he's either VT or scum, and in that case, he's the least damaging mislynch we could make, if its a mislynch.

I didn't consider him scummy at all, but now he's vote hopping all over the place He's also making short posts and has made a vote without explanation and a second vote without much explanation. He's also backed off both votes after any kind of pressure is put on him.

The millar vote was because he was acting scummy as all hell. The quadz vote was because I've never seen town "vote just to create discussion" outside of the RVS. Then I realized that there was no scum motivation, and that he was probably just newb town, and unvoted. I haven't backed off of the millar vote because there was pressure on me, it's because I don't see that wagon going anywhere. I backed off the quadz vote before anyone put pressure on me. I always make short posts.

I have a gut feeling on totallynotmafia, and I can't wait for him to get back from V/LA. I think AGar has been somewhat scummy, but IDK. quadz, I think that you're newbie town, and gandalf I can't get a read on. Millar I can never get a read on. Mitsuru I think is scum, and here's why:
Mitsuru didn't want to hammer Exe on D1, but he/she did it subtly by putting him at L-1.
Mitsuru has also posted very little content all game.

Gandalf has been engaging in useless (and wrong) setup speculation to avoid having to do any scumhunting, has been lurking (I know, pot calling the kettle black blah blah blah), is very excited about getting what he sees as an easy mislynch out of me, and I'm 99% sure that the other scum is TNM.

He an TNM see an easy mislynch on me because I've been lurking, etc. The part of TNM's case against me regarding Vez is because I was torn between what I knew was his town and scum meta, and the comment (from AGar?) about how offsite metas don't usually translate. At the time, I found quadz scummy as well, but now I don't.

I targetted Vezok N1 and it said that he targeted nobody, hence why I believed his claim, but I figured he could still be me a vanilla mafia or something, so I supported his lynch because at very least we wouldn't lose town power. N2 I targeted quadz, and he targeted nobody.

If he was scum, he would have used his bus driver ability (yes I'm assuming that he really is the bus driver, but in this game there's absolutely no reason to lie about your role).

Not really. If he was scum, he would use the ability on two people who 1) aren't scum, and 2) the scum weren't targeting with an ability or kill to fuck with town PR.
