Allright. Here are the rules.

There are 12 players. 3 of them were randomly selected to be the mafia. First there will be a night phase.

During a night phase, nobody is allowed to discuss the game. Except the Mafia, who may speak privately with one another as much as they like at night. They will decide on one player to kill. This player will die, and the day phase will begin.

During a day phase any player may discuss the game, but only in this thread. Players will each be allowed to cast and retract one vote for another player as many times as they like.

A vote should be cast in the format of

Vote: Whomever

. To retract a vote simply say

Unvote: Whomever

. If this is not in bold text it will be ignored by the moderator.

If a majority of votes is reached at any time, that is to say more than half of the players have their vote placed on the same player, the game enters twilight.

In twilight, all votes are fixed. Players may speak in thread, but when the mod returns, he will officially kill the player who received the majority vote, revealing whether or not he was, in fact, a member of the mafia. Then the night phase will begin.

The game continues until either all of the mafia members are dead, in which case the town wins, or when the number of mafia members remaining equals or exceeds the number of other players in the game, in which case the mafia wins.

A dead player may no longer vote or discuss the game with any living player. A dead player is also still bound by the requirement not to discuss the game outside of the thread.

No player may edit any part of this thread, only new posts may be made.

Questions and concerns should be directed to the moderator and no one else. If you aren't sure about anything, ask the mod. Stupid questions save lives.

The moderator here reserves the right to do whatever he wants.

Entry into this game implies an agreement to abide by the above stated rules of the game for the duration. If a rule is not explcitly stated by the mod, it is not a rule.

As the town awakens it quickly becomes clear that Talitha is dead, and it was that mafia's doing. The only sane response is to start stringing up the suspicious until the killers are eliminated.

The mod would like to here apologize for not making clear in the opening post what he has told people in several different threads over the course of the past several months. That being that there are no special roles in this game.

GAHHHHH!!!! I can't even run a simple game like this without making a mistake. Blackhawk was a member of the mafia. Congratulations town.

Anyway, the town slept better once they all realized that. Awakening the next day though, they discovered that The Mystery Celly was dead. The second victim of the Mafia.

In the mods understanding, Crap Logic™ is defined as: Intentionally skewed reasoning intended to lead the town astray. A primary weapon of the mafia and also a primary identifier of the mafia.

Ah, I just found an article by Antrax that defines Crap Logic™ thus:

I know how you feel about closure Carmine. Back in March when I joined this site, I signed up to play mini 27 by Quercitron. I was lynched day one mainly for babbling about biblical dwarves. To my knowledge the game is still in twilight.

At this point the mod would like to point out to Gammie that the confusion about her gender probably springs from the usage of a male character in her avatar. Also, the rest of the town may be aided in remembering her femininity by the simple mnemonic that Bart Simpson is played by a woman.

I suppose I should make it official. Isaac was innocent. That means that the mafia would outnumber the town day 5, and the game is over. The mafia were, in fact, MeMe and No Idea. Congratulations on your win. Full revelation forthcoming.

Well I did open it up more or less, but nobody sent me their suspicions, except Wacky, and he was right on the money, so I guess he wins. Congrats Wacky.

I hope everyone also learned a valuable lesson from all of this. That being "Don't out-guess the mod" or at least "Don't out-guess PolarBoy".

MeMe, I must say I'm impressed at how you did. I'm going to be very careful if you survive night one next time we play together.
