Important Scummies Announcement
In order to reduce the workload on the judges and give a bit more time for reading and discussion, we are going to be splitting this year's judging into two halves. This will affect all single game/thread/post awards; Games ending before July 1 will be considered by the first judging group, while games ending from July 1 to December 31 will be considered by a second judging group.

- Best Performance Scum Group
- Best Performance Third Party
- Best Role Claim
- Funniest Role Claim
- Most Enjoyable Game
- Best Setup
- Best Role
- Best Flavor Text
- Best Mechanic/Mutation
- Best Contribution to Mafia Discussion/MafiaWiki
- MishMash Game
If you would like to nominate something from the first half of the year for one of these awards, you have until July 31
.
If you are interested in being a first-half judge, send me a PM; the SSC will be working on putting together a judge team as we get closer to the deadline.

To clarify: The split will affect the
judging
. It will not affect the number of awards given out. Judges in the first half will select some number in each category to be considered as finalists, judges in the second half will do likewise, and then we'll come to a final decision.
