That game doesn't need a replacement right now, but if you're patient they might want one during confirmations in which case you might be 'stolen' from the queue. If you're not, the next game would probably be close to starting by then anyway.

There are 3 groups of players in this queue:

Newbies:

Those who have completed less than 2 games on site.

Semi Experienced:

Those who have completed 2 or more games on site.

Inexperienced Challenged:

Those who have completed more than 5 games on site and are approved, these are the teachers.

The important words to note are 'on site'. I don't think it's possible that you have completed 2 games from your join date, so you'd still be classed as a newbie by MafiaScum Newbie Queue Standards™. It's always useful for newbies to know the basics ect though, the thing is on this site we play differently to other websites hence people who are experienced in placed such as EpicMafia being classed as newbies here.

You can't do that in this queue. You need to wait until a game needs a replacement, it'll be announced here and you'll need to PM the mod. Also, I notice you still have not played a game that. In this queue, you can only play

or

replace into one game if you haven't completed a game on site yet. Once that game is completed, you may start one new game and replace into as many as you like.

I seriously advise you to read the first post in this thread as it contains vital information as to how this queue works, along with useful links about the game.

It depends on the mod and how busy he/she is in that given day. I think about 3 days is the norm.

A) Look at the original post, it's called a queue for a reason. Those aren't the next people in line for a game.
B) You're list has 2 IC's and an SE. Unless something has happened since I've been away from this queue, you need 2 SE's for a game, not one and only one IC.
C) HelloNewman's games need to be reviewed before he can IC anyway.
D) Vel is pretty inactive at weekends.
E) Be patient! It'll happen soon!

He's been gone two days, I'm sure he's checked the queue since then. Unexpected things happen, people have lives. If I was doing an assignment and didn't post for two days in my modded game, but got replaced as mod, I'd be really pissed off.

Looking at the first post, the next set of games will start when a game review has been done on one of the new IC's. After that you need to wait for a role PM from the mod and then for the players to confirm they have received their role.

No, because you've only played 1 game. You need to have 2 completed games to be able to sign up to multiple new games. You can have 1 completed game and replace into as many games as you can handle. Warning: replace into too many and you flake out you could be banned from the queue.

What the listmod will say because rules are up to date:

From OP

Brand new players may only play in one Newbie Game.
Brand new players may either play a game from scratch or replace into an existing game for your first game.
Once you are out of your first game (by lynch, night kill, or the end of the game) you may sign up for a second game.
Players with one finished game may also replace into as many games as you can handle.
Taking on too many games at one time, getting overloaded, and replacing out of those games can get you banned from the Newbie Queue!

After your first game, you can join one newbie game from scratch and replace into as many games as you can handle. Mod's should not be giving out incorrect information. For other queues you can sign up to 4 mini games (a mixture of theme and normal is fine as long as the sum of them both is 4.). Open games are free of a limit. Not sure about the large games, there was talk of a limit being imposed on large themes but I don't believe it was ever made a rule.

"Inexperience Challenged" is a faux-politically correct term on mafiascum.net for experienced players ("IC"s) who sign up for Newbie games to represent the site and its meta. This is

considered a voluntary burden

and taken very seriously by the list mod. ICs must have completed five games on mafiascum.net and spent three months onsite before they can qualify for the position, and are occasionally barred from ICing if substantial complaints are raised.

People don't research what it is they think they might be forced into doing? Also, I'm not seeing anything that could cause misconception in the wording of the OP.

Little tip: One of the first things you need to realise when playing games on this site is that people won't see things from your point of view - what's clear to you, won't be to everyone else. For example, look at this is context, you posted 'in to replace' in the newbie queue. A lot of people do that, not realising they need to send a message to the mod if they want a specific game.

Formally requesting to be placed in the same game as Hiralarious.

Requests such as this are never able to be accommodated due to the newbie queue having such high activity. Imagine if it happened for one person, then everybody else will want it too. There will be much confusion! It is possible to get in the same game for other queues if you're quick on the mark, just not this one.
