Hey Eek, by the way, I have idled in your underground city, and managed to grow the grass that you were trying to bring from the surface all the way to the bottom of the stairs.
I'm not sure. It seems that grass grows, so I think that we will be seeing grass without having to reset the world. Anyway, I would stock up in seeds just in case in worlds that have no farms.
Remember that seeds also come from farms. In our server, me and MME (at least, probably others too) have pretty big farms. I can provide seeds for anyone who needs it after the upgrade.
I have decided I cannot play minecraft on this POS laptop. even on SSP I can't go more than 15 minutes at best before the entire thing crashes. It's a PITA, lags my entire system for a few minutes after it's closed (via control panel since clicking on the [x] does bum-fuck nothing), and is laggy whilst playing overall.
Once I get a new laptop, sure. But jesus H christ.

I usually ignore all those silly "UPDATE NOW!!" messages I get.
Returning froma spontanious extended sabatical. Posting from an Android with a crappy touch keyboard, so spelling mistakes will occur with wild abandon.
I'd advise you not to update just yet.
Bugs I encountered:
- I put 58 logs in the furnace. Re-enter the menu and I only see 1 log being burnt.
- After dying I picked up my stuff and every time I use a tool I had on me while dying, it instantly breaks. Tools crafted after death don't break after one use.
I didnt see the furnace bug yet, but I had the ¨death¨ bug. Maps are cool, but I havent find a way to zoom them yet, maybe not possible. Hatches are quite nice for decoration!
MME, have you started the tree challenge in the server yet?
Extra info on the ¨tool disappearing bug¨ -- It only happens on tools that are worn. Pristine tools dont disappear.
EDIT: Actually, you don´t need to die. The bug triggers when you drop a tool and pick it up again. Must be related to the dupe bug Notch mentioned before.

I misinterpreted that furnace bug. Nothing disappears. You just get back everything you put in it, aside from 1 fuel and 1 item to be burned. You can put them back in though.
And yeah, that tool bug is related to dropping them, so best not to drop any tools unless you too want to lose your brand new, only used one time, diamond pickaxe.
And the tree challenge is underway. I'm rooted somewhere near the tundra station. Across the sea south of the observatory. You can't miss it.
