After a long restful night you all gather in the common room again, this time only one body greets you. The

is slumped against the wall, a shot glass in one hand and his peace symbol in the other. His face is swollen and bloated, with blood running from his eyes, clearly poisoned. However on closer inspection, he also has a gun shot wound to the back of his head. Talk about over kill.

Just as you all start to talk you realize someone else is missing.

seems to have been removed from the bunker while you were all sleeping. No one seems to care and why would you? He was a bad guy after all.

was tired and weary. This ordeal had gone on long enough and to be fair, he

was

sick of living on this God awful planet. After seeing the stars up close, nothing else in this life could ever come close to satisfying him. Every day he sat and watched these loud, annoying sacks of meat debate about who was good and who was bad, who was this and who was that.... It was just all white noise to him, the posturing becoming completely pointless in the grand universal scheme. Every other night he would chose whoever's voice was the most annoying and dumped them out of the bunker door just to ease his own headache. But still it didn't help... It

never

helped. These men sit around a big oak table posturing like Gods, deciding who lives and dies like they should have that power... Pathetic.

Today it just became too much to handle.

Before anyone could say anything, bvoigt walked up to the noose and put his head though. With minimal help, he hung himself. The room was silent, everyone reflecting on his sacrifice. The question now becomes.... Will it be worth it?

For once, night came quick to the bunker. After bvoigt's sacrifice

PeregrineV

went to bed with a heavy heart. Was he really the only remaining good guy? The thought sent shivers though his body. After double checking his door was locked, PeregrineV finally laid down to get some rest. He slept fitfully as nightmare figures chased him though his dreams. In the middle of the night he awoke with a start, there was a noise somewhere.... He heard it, he was sure he did. Sat up in bed he strains to listen though the darkness when.... BANG!

That sounded like it came from the room right next to him. Turning on his light he slips out of bed and walks to the door. His head is telling him to run and hide, but his instincts want to find out what is happening. With a shaky hand, he unlocks his door, turns the handle and slowly, sooo slowly eases it open just a crack. The lights are still on in the corridor which helps Peregrine tell that the corridor seems to be empty. He sighs with relief, a weight lifted off his shoulders. Maybe he just dreamed the noise.

Feeling better he pushes open the door and actually steps out into the corridor, clearly a mistake. Melting out of the shadows down the long hallway is

Lowell

. Without hesitation he raises his gun in one fluid motion and pulls the trigger shooting poor PeregrineV in the back of the head. Lowell watches him crumple to the ground before turning and walking silently away. This was almost becoming too easy, he thought to himself. He can't wait until he sees the look of shock on Fonz's face tomorrow when he pulls his gun on him and shoots him dead in the middle of the bunker. It will be glorious!

Feeling smug and accomplished, Lowell pushes his door open and walks into his room, setting his gun down on the bedside table. He doesn't see

The Fonz

who slides out from behind the door grinning from ear to ear. In his hand is a needle and he steps right up to Lowell and before he even notices anything, Fonz slips it into his neck. Lowell rounds on Fonz but it's already too late, the poison took a hold quickly and his knees buckle before he falls to the floor, blood pouring out of his eyes.

The Fonz just smiles and watches as Lowell spams once before dying. Last man standing... He always knew it could come down to this. However he never knew just how satisfying it could be...

Well played Fonz, I was utterly convinced PV was the last Soviet. But when you killed ThAd it became clear PV would never kill the one guy believing him. I feel we played well with the tools we were given. Neither one of us got himself lynched.

I had a blast playing here and I thought the playerbase was great aswell. Thanks for picking up the mod dutys when it mattered Sotty!

This game lasted, what, four months, and I know I lost interest a couple of times. But I think my reads were decent. Sorry for killing you, Nacho, but it looked like you were softclaiming vig.

What's the point of a blacklister in this setup? Especially as a town role, it doesn't seem to do much.

>, but not >>>. BP, as ever, is incredibly swingy depending on who holds it. I was expecting something along the lines of Mafia Doctor and tracker for the American's equivalent. I mean, the rolecop didn't actually tell us anything particularly useful, and no-one ever shot at me.

The town could have done with one more power role, I think. Maybe a JOAT of some kind. Given the win conditions, probably one fewer Soviet and US townie and two more 'other nations' ones as well. Sathoris would have been better off claiming third-party capitalist than third-party communist, I think, though it was pretty hard to anticipate that. Obviously, there was no way I was claiming El Fidel.

I have to say, I figuratively crapped myself midgame when I saw someone say in MD that jmj never lurked as town.

It was weird, really, because the first two days I was here I found myself pushing lynches that not only were unpopular and on town, but didn't actually benefit my win condition since Furc and Peregrine were claimed Soviets. (This is why I was really surprised the Americans shot ThAd and not bvoigt. Why would you shoot someone who was obviously American anyway, and not someone who was Soviet AND confirmed vig to boot?) It seemed like the Americans either didn't grasp or didn't care about the specifics of their win condition. For my part, I didn't bus Gonnano despite his clusterfuck of a claim simply because I figured I wouldn't get any town cred whatsoever out of it that late in the game.

If you look at my little blog, you'll see I genuinely thought Smarg was scum. On the other hand, I didn't really care whether Enigma or Sathoris was actually American scum. The thing that mattered to me was that I had to get rid of Enigma because he couldn't be Soviet, and was much less sure that Bvoigt would kill Enigma after a Sath townflip than that bv would kill Sath after an Enigma one.

On, and on 2:1:1s: What I stated there is usually the correct course of action, but there's no point in lynching a CONFIRMED townie. You might as well no lynch there as do that. Wait for the unconfirmed townie to get on and lynch him instead. Of course, it still wouldn't have mattered here since I was bulletproof.
