Let's face it, anyone who's played with you two knows you'll spend the whole game calling each other mason and cancelling it every other 30 minutes. It's classic Reck/Fate behaviour.
And when I say there would be a body, I mean that as scum I'd have shot Reck the moment you started going at each other.
First, because if I were scum he's the most likely candidate to read me.
Second, because if he's mason that's one less of you in the way.

Shots in the dark have a 60ish% chance of hitting a townie, thus killing the shooter.
