Oh hell, I completely forgot to catch up in this game. I've replaced into a number as part of my comeback to the site and this one just fell through the cracks. I'll work on it over the next couple of days.

In post 1606, Uprising wrote:He targetted Mastin.

I watched mastin, and the only person who visited him (aside from me) was Battousai.

Battousai said he wasn't going to action and claims he actioned me which is a little silly, no?

Still working on my catch-up, but this is pretty cut and dry.

Hang Battousai, or hang Uprising if we find out he was lying. Win-win.

I'd vote, but I want more information for tomorrow. So... I'll wait for more people to post...

Town wouldn't post this. Town would recognize the 1v1 status of Uprising's claim, try to get the other lynched first to avoid a mislynch, but would accept that getting mislynched would guarantee a scumlynch on Uprising. Yeah. Battousai it is.

Nicely done, Uprising.

In post 1610, Battousai wrote:Uprising's 1606 is misrep. I said I wouldn't target anyone, but I planned to hide behind uprising (hence the embedding of his name in my post). The reason I said I wouldn't was an attempt to get the scum to take a chance at killing me (and hence, no kill would have happened).

Really
? I see no misrep. All I see is him presenting the results of his claimed actions, and a re-stating of your intentions from D5. Followed by you disavowing what you said you'd be doing. Calling it misrepresentation is...well...misrepresentation.

Eh, when a cop or cop-like role comes out with a guilty, you don't defend your buddy, and damn don't chainsaw for them. You let them die, kill the investigator, and go for the next day.

Guilty result = {Battousi, Uprising} = 1 scum. You always follow the cop when able to. If you were arguing on merits, you might have a shot at turning me. You're arguing based on strategy, and that's just not going to fly.

That means trekker is claiming he was blocked. Not a fan of that particular claim. Do we have solid reasons to trust trekker?

To clarify, he's claiming that he is a rolecop that got blocked, then not blocked. Doesn't make sense for scum not to block him. Unless we have a Town roleblocker?

Stringer claimed Rolecop-by-JOAT with a VT on eep?

How did Stringer get lynched? Because if it didn't come up before now, claiming VT on a Townie without verification is ridiculously risky for scum. It would be pretty damning for eep IM
H
O, because it would indicate that Stringer was trying to clear his buddy.

Bus Driver is not a within the Normal guidelines, we don't have one.

Unless I've overlooked something, looks like remaining scum are Battousi, Trekker, and eep. GG, folks.

No, you haven't been defending yourself. Until just recently, you were
just
attacking the common-sense follow-the-cop strategy. There's a subtle but important difference here. If you'd defended yourself and gone after Uprising, accepting that you'd be auto-lynched if he flipped Town, you might have had a shot at me believing you. But you did a very common scum-panicmode response.

I'm very confident in lynching you, and I think it would take ironclad evidence to convince me otherwise at this point. My vote is remaining off of you for now because I think we can put in a solid day's work against your buddies before we come back around to you. I will not be voting for anyone else unless the rest of the Town has a collective brain hemorrhage.

What part of read the thread or knowing the definition of my account has you confused? I've been saying all along that this is mylo based on the roles.

Though that was a good try in trying to ignore my last post and just focused on one little thing. Now I'm pretty sure that Pine is scum with uprising. It actually makes sense, too. We haven't been able to get scum lynched until the mass claim, because it seems like at least half of the scum were basically inactive/lurking.

My point is that you don't seem to have any doubt that we're in MyLo. That indicates
knowing
what the scum-to-Town ratio is, rather than speculating on it.

The second half is a fair point against me, I do need to read and evaluate trekker's claim for myself, and not by hearsay.

I don't care what the wiki says, ROLE cops in my experience ALWAYS come back with the full name of the role. What you (and the wiki) are describing is what I'd call a rolecop variant, or some kind of flavor cop.

There cannot be a Jester in this game, it's under the Normal rules.

Okay, 19 people. 10 dead Townies, one dead SK, two dead goons, strong Town power.

Six alive. Can't be three scum alive (or we'd have endgamed), so we have two left. 4:2, we're in MyLo. I would toy with the idea of a No Lynch to reduce it to 3:2 and make us more likely to hit scum with a lynch, but sorgster is an outed confirmed Mason, so he's the next night kill. In my book, that puts us in LyLo.

1. AntB
8. sorgster

9. StevieT92
12. Pine

18. eep
19. trekker

Two of the following are scum:
1. AntB
9. StevieT92
18. eep
19. trekker

This is as far as my thinking takes me tonight, between prime time TV and fatigue. I have tomorrow off, so I'll have full workups on each of those four in the morning.

VOTE: eep

A slight never mind. This post condemns trekker. There is no ability within Normal ruleset that will confuse a rolecop in this manner. Framer can give a cop a false guilty, Godfather a false innocent, or roleblock can stop it completely. But nothing can confuse it like this.

Disregard the call for unvotes, but not the request for no more votes. I'll be hammering when I'm satisfied with eep's answer, as I now suspect him of bussing rather than trying to mislynch.

Six alive, four votes needed for hammer. With three votes, he's at L-1.

I was asking you to justify your reversal on trekker, but it had not occurred to me in my haste that you're right, being caught in a lie does justify it completely.

I don't have a case, as I've been unable to do the promised full workups on the remaining possible scum, just the one point that jumped out at me. I'll deal with it over the night.

1771 is WIFOM and 1772 is straight up false. Example: recently finished open game (I forget the number, title has "Agatha eats well" in it) it came down to a 3:1 endgame and I, as the last scum, was first on the mislynch. First SK win of mine, btw.

Stevie's rage seems very fabricated to me.

No. Gah, with eep taking your side, I'm going to have to actually build up a well-researched case.

I tend not to read the backlog of a thread when I replace in. I have had very good success with this strategy, because I often find that scum who have been successfully flying under the radar tend to slip a lot more in the late game, but it doesn't get noticed because of confirmation bias. You, Stevie, have been noticably the scummiest of the remaining players since I replaced in. I'm not switching, and unfortunately now I have to do my homework to convince the others.

That's the second time you've said that, indicating an overriding preoccupation with escaping suspicion. Town would be less concerned with how they're perceived, and more with advancing their own case. Keep digging.

Oh? You
know
he's scum? Considering that he's posted jack shit since day start, and just as little the day before that, what changed since your abortive push on eep?

I want content out of AntB.

AntB, when you read this, I'm toying with hammering you just out of exasperation and annoyance. Content now.

The reason we shouldn't is because no one has claimed a PR that might make it worthwhile, like roleblocker or doctor. All that will happen is that I, as confirmed Town, will be dead and you'd be in the same position, except with quickhammers more viable for scum.

Beginning to self-doubt and look hard at AntB again. Need to actually read the thread. Gah.

Well, given that your response right there means you're innocent, and I'm pretty sure eep is too...

We should totally replace into more games, yo. I'm in too many games right now, want to hydra and go hunting for replacement games some time soon?
