What are the symptoms? What browser/OS?

Seriously, try clearing cookies again. ;) I'm able to log in, but can't stay logged in. There is a conflicting cookie, somehow. I think I've almost got it isolated.

Did you change the e-mail address? The account was set to inactive.

Yeah, I'll only reactivate known (to me) users or those who e-mail me.

RJ is active. So it's not an activation problem.

What URL is being used? (Please give me the complete URL.) RJ should be able to post in Help! as guest, so direct answers are preferred. Also, I might be available via IM.

What OS/Browser?

Also, less than three character names will soon be disallowed, so RJ might want to think about what it should change to, if 'e wants to be able to seach for posts. RJ's posts are unsearchable.

You shouldn't need to abandon Firefox... Check if it works after clearing cookies, etc.

It's likely that you need to clear your cache... try doing a hard refresh once you get logged in.

How about if you logging in and hitting Shift-F5 and Ctrl-F5 (I forget which one it is, so try both.)

That's usually a cookie issue. Try adding/removing the www before mafiascum.net.

Send me your ISP information. It must be that you are on an ISP that has been partially blocked and you are getting new IPs in that range.

I think we have it set to never time out your cookie, so it would be on your browser. Opening multiple browsers can mess with the cookies (as can multiple tabs) but I haven't seen them log people out that I know of. Mostly it messes with the "new" indicators.
