well, i've never been in this situation, but i suppose it would be safest to claim doc.
all you have to do is say you protected someone who is still alive. if you happen to have protected someone who you know you targetted-and they didn't die, then, if the person eventually dies- it will show that they weren't a gf and must have been protected. and also, the other doc won't doubt your story either(or at least too much) because how could they know for certain. also, if you are gf, then you can say, since i cam out, i need the other doc to protect me tonight, and thus you can justify your not dying at night.
i guess it would have to be different in each game, but faced with a situation where i must lie- which i really don't want to do and haven't yet- i think tha tthis would be the best way to go. i suppose if i gave this more thought i would find many flaws in my thinking- but right now- doc seems to be the best way to go.
