I have an enhancement request. I would like to be able to lock down my games at night. It will TOTALLY avoid the problem with night posting. radwulf is doing it on the Romanian board and I really like that idea.
Is there any way to give us that level of control over our own threads?
I created a Mafia Mod group that we can keep whoever happens to be running mafia games in at the time. This should work as long as the people running the games don't get to overzealous or don't try to 'tweak' other peoples games.
Moderators need to email me to let me know when they start a game and when they finish one so they can be added/removed from the Mafia Mod group as needed.
Right now DP is the group moderator, which means he is the only one allowed to add/remove users (other than administrators). I'll leave it that way if you don't mind handling that, otherwise I wouldn't mind having a volunteer to handle managing that group.
Edit: DP, ignore any mail you might have just recieved regarding me playing with the group thing. Hopefully someone will take over managing that group so I can open it up. That way, future moderators can simply apply for membership from the web based form and then remove themself once the game is over.
ikonboard had an option that let the thread starter moderate the thread, which would've been useful. don't think this board has that, though.
anyway, i'll keep an eye on the group thing whenever i update the waiting list. hopefully between me and dp, we'll be able to keep up with it. perhaps we could start a thread in queue to keep up with who's in it?
I only put you in there because it made me put someone in there. While you're away, I can take over (or someone else if there's a volunteer). It shouldn't be too much of a hassle.
