Sigh, the game is at two pages Arugula, read the damn thing

Milk is the only person who has done anything scummy so far (with the possible minor exceptions of you and Thomith)

Milk has voted for somebody for a behaviour, then claimed the behaviour doesn't make somebody scummy, then claimed the vote was RVS. This is a scummy behaviour

Just as yours is for trying to dilute the argument (but far less so)
Just as Thomith's is for stating that Milk's behaviour is 'weird' (no commitment, not saying it's scummy or anything, but trying to look like he's commenting)

I will be aggressive and hostile to anybody who proves they haven't read this minimal amount of game so far.

I asked Milk a question, milk answerd, i voted milk. I did nothing in between this, I think it would be obvious that this is why i voted milk.

I also post frequently from my phone/tablet and therefore do so with minimum text.

But in the future I shall endeavour to be painfully clear. So as to excuse people who choose not to read the game.

People are taking issue with my slight ambiguity. Ambiguity is sometimes alright. I will clarify, but its good to try and gauge the reaction of the person I'm accusing with slightly ambiguous votes and accusations.

So in the future, people should not jump in the way of attacks that aren't aimed at them.

As it is, I'm not terribly unhappy with Milk's reactions, but I don't have anywhere better to move my vote.

He replaced in 3 days after it started, given that we just had a weekend, that's basically the start of the game. He shouldn't complain about people being inactive if he hasn't added much content himself.

Are you going to contribute anything except defending others?

Thomith's tone looks a lot more like his scum game than his town game. He's more aggressive as town. In this game and his scum game he seems a lot more timid, he statements are qualified a lot more like his read of Milk.

I don't know, I've never really played with meta before, but something Thomith is doing is striking me as 'very careful' in the way scum play.

In post 103, Thomith wrote:i tend to be tentative early game unless i find something worth an attack, which i really haven't yet.

Tech i think i am being meta'd on the examples i have given, but that is only one example of both plays, so imo it isn't really enough to form a read on.

Which is why I haven't quite changed my vote.

Your tone this game has a 'friendly, slightly over-eager' flavour that I see in some players. My concern is that you have that same tone in the scum game you sent me, but in the town game you sent me it's nowhere near as present.

At this point I'd be willing to lynch you today, but not enough to champion your wagon

In post 102, SensFan wrote:Humble Poirot and DTM, I can answer both of your questions together. I frankly don't think that there's been a whole lot in this game that is telling of alignment. I certainly never meant to imply that I had any sort of read on Seacore; it's significant but I don't know how or why yet. All I know is that when the only things of note in 4 pages are two fairly inconsequential spats, it's worth noting if the same person is involved in both.

unvote Vote sensfan

this is totally enough to vote for.
"interesting" "significant" "worth noting" these are terms of somebody who is trying to fling mud and look like they're scum hunting without getting involved.

If something doesn't help you determine alignment, it's not worth noting.

I'm not misconstruing anything.

By your own admission, you are saying that found a link between the two players in the way that one was biased and coaching the other.
That's a link.

So to say that you didn't link them is inaccurate.

No, I'm not going to feign dumb, I definitely have been nodding along with DT's and Humble's posts. They are both doing some good scum hunting and are both town reads of mine. This 'alliance' is because i believe we read each other as town. At least from my side it is anyway, I can't speak for them. I don't agree with everything they've said, but it feels pro-town.

I don't include Arugula in that. Arugula feels a little shady to me. Not enough for me to call scum, but his defending followed by some parroting, I haven't seen anything pro-town come from him yet.

My case on Sens is the way that he's avoided taking stances. He tried to fling mud on me by calling what I did 'significant' and then saying it doesn't help with a read on me. In the absence of any town behaviour whatsoever, this is worth a vote.

What you see is other people trying to make it look like there's an alliance.

Arugula, I've also explained you. You have just been parroting and/or defending players so far. That's enough for me to want you as a lynch candidate.

Sigh

DT feels that you're scum for the reasons he's listed. He then felt that, given he felt you were scum, rofl was probably scum with you

Some scum hunters don't like to draw bows that long, others do, but there's nothing that odd about it.

exactly
his behaviour is pro-town.

He's just calling out behaviour as he sees it.

As opposed to Techno who is just trying to keep everything murky "You can't know that. This is just an assumption. You might be wrong" etc.

And here are the last couple of my town games. I've been out of it for a while, focussing on modding.

Sensfan is today's lynch. That much is obvious.
So one of two things will happen if we prolong the day.

1) No legitimate pressure can be placed on any other slot because they know the game will change after the first two flips.
or
2) Legitimate pressure is actually applied, allowing Sensfan to slip through the noose by maintaining inactivity.

Once there is consensus for a lynch, unless there is some PR related planning today, you end the day.

Uber, I don't care if absta is useless, he's town and we're not killing town deliberately in a mini.

More people for the techno wagon please.

His play day one was scummy. He tried to lump a whole bunch of players together as an 'alliance' just because we all found Sens and him scummy. He did this without calling any of us scummy very often, but instead using muddying words like "misrepresent" and "discredit". He's done zero scum hunting.

You haven't done more scum hunting, you've been ranting and flailing about other people finding you suspicious.

Here you are lying. We do not have an alliance.

If four men walk into the street, look up and concur that the sky is blue, its because we agree with evidence we have all seen, it does not mean we are in collusion.

Techno, I just gave you a quick ISO,

I have no idea who you find scummy.

You've avoided taking stances like it was a plague. Everything you say is "I disagree with this idea but I don't find the person scummy for it"

This is why I'm accusing you of a lack of scum hunting

Because you haven't scum hunted.
