I agree that that one title does not hit the spot, but it should not be taken as a general avoidance of meet based, or single-thread based titles.

To put it another way, Singer's joke is like "Where do cows go for entertainment? The mooooovies!" Whereas Pie's feels like "Why do lions get lost? Because Jungle Is Massive."
The second joke is funnier than the first.
God I hate it when people run through an entire post and just spin out on one topic.

I don't think there's anything wrong with letting down our hair a bit on titles.
I agree that not everyone will understand a title these days, we're a little too big for that.

Considering there have only been two meet-ish titles in my time, and neither of them actually had any policy written around them, there is no "consistency". I think you're just being silly again. It's not necessary in this thread.

She's better than everyone? Why? Because she posts drunk just like TONS of other people do?
I just don't get how this isn't a blatant attempt to shoehorn a title because she hosted a meet. I think singsing has a big site presence but "she drunkposts and this title comes across as kinda arrogant" is NOT the title I would pick.
I agree, I'm not a massive fan of this title myself. That said, the discussion was about the "meet-ism" of the title, which I don't think is the problem.

I can't see any titles that wouldn't at least have a secondary meaning. I think the double innuendo is prevalent among most accepted titles.

The issue isn't single-thread, it's community-wide acceptance
that's why Brandi's 3 page thread that has already died is different from GP2 taking over 3 years to reach what it is now, and it taking 1.5 years of the thread being active to consider me for a title based on it
show me another non-mafia related discussion thread that has warranted a title

No, but I don't think there was enough support for it. I figured it was just dropping due to lack of interest from the board members.

are you just incapable of reading comprehension or are you just being overly facetious when you imply I've stated I think the admins have made a ruling on meet-related titles

I totally support a

but it needs to be applied evenly and not just to people who happen to be buddies with those making the decisions.
Back on topic, I think we liked constant vigilance but were just divided on capitalization. Oman can probably just declare one option best (we can also shrink font size a bit if ALLCAPS is gonna be too much).
Allcaps is super obnoxious in titles, what I wanted to talk about was whether we wanted to take something so inherently "sitewide" and apply it to one guy.
I'm happy with the idea, but like...that tiger joke has been around for years.

I dont think CAPS is a good thing for the title. Even the CAPS players titles are just jabs at being those players and not in all caps. Unless it makes zero sense in lowercase, its the right choice easily.
Game-specific meme, not sure if those are disallowed (or good ideas either way). Here's the link, to save Rhinox from having to go post it. It is a reasonably fitting meme in the context of that one game, but might give the wrong impression when applied to modding more generally.
LLD:cfj wasnt actually the mod tho, he was a real play who was scum scum and posted VC's throughout the game even after death with myko's blessing. This wasnt a bastard lol mod is scum situation. But it was spy's first reference to secret scum mod that had me rolling and i couldnt wait for the game to end to nom for it. Idk maybe its not that funny to everyone else or i was just in a weird mood when i first read it.
