I would suggest maybe having a nice split between newbies and experienced people in the two groups - that way you have the experienced people to help handle questions whilst you can get on with some parts of DMing.

Also please no skill challenges ever. They were the worst.

I've rolled up a Bard, trying to max out CHA to get Bluff and Diplomacy up as much as possible.

I've got Streetwise, Bluff and Diplomacy. Was avoiding Intimidate just because I don't particularly like it as a skill, and don't see why it needs to be separate to Diplomacy x]

Yeah. It went fairly quick, but like I always knew in advance what I was going to do. I read my powers before I decide to use them, and make a decision whilst everyone else is doing stuff. It made everything go quicker.

My main issue was the constant interruptions. If someone is talking, don't interrupt. Type in the chat box what you want to say.

I think a lot of it is the eagerness of people, especially those who haven't really played before. They all want to be involved, but they can't be.

I got a little snippy last night, both in the chat and in skype.

I would also like to offer up a suggestion that everyone goes away and researches what their skills (i.e. Perception, Streetwise etc.) can be used for so as we don't spend ten minutes every half hour or so arguing over whether or not Perception can be used to understand the motives of someone.
