Meta is generally crap. Well used it can help fill out an already established case. But saying "Learn Mehdi's meta" is stupid. I played with Mehdi Town in The Detectives. She wasn't crap there.

Good game to Shiz. I think Jester play for most players (who don't have the burden of proficiency) is a pretty easy road but you did well enough to win and I can't take that away from you.

I'd say good game to Town except I think we played like crap generally. I fully admit I didn't give this game more than a half-hearted effort due to 'Lulz, Bastard'. I don't think the rest of Town did and the game was won by Town due to "Surprise Bomb" and Nobody being his usual lurk-a-derp self.

If OS doesn't mind posting the hydra doc I'll post that a bit later as well (and that game breaking plan did happen since when you take into account our bomb which is also a supersaint we planned out the rest of the possibilities in the doc).

I'm still male, and anyways I'll accept I screwed up reads wise badly. The funny thing is like right after detectives ended I mentioned that in the doc as something against you since I thought you played better there too.

I think Parama summed this game up the best when he called it a game.

Actually I would say probably not. The set-up was basically this -

10-2-1

Which is pretty close to Mountainous (10-2) which is considered mostly balanced.

Consider the following -

The Lovers is a Town negative utility role in that it acts as second free kill / mislynch for scum.
The Bomb is a mixed but slightly Town positive role in that it can kill of scum making the Nightkill (or Scum / Town hammering the player).

The Roleblocker is a quasi-negative utility role for Scum in that it doesn't actually do much of anything for their side (none of the Town have inherent blockable abilities ... thus the block the 1-shot involves as much luck as skill) but does give them Mod WIFOM issues.

The Jester is a Town negative role in that played adequately it robs Town of a lynch.

Overall I'd say the set-up was mildly Scum-side if anything. Hard to judge the effect of the Trading except to say that it mostly increases swing.

I think the bomb was more then a bit positive considering there's only two scum so hitting it just caused them to lose half their team. If I were to be lynched it could have just worked like a double lynch where town could just choose who hammers me.

Follower is the easiest card combo to get and in a game with 0 vigs anyone found killing someone has a guilty on them.
