In post 809, RedCoyote wrote:GB has been on F-16's case almost from the beginning of the game. I must say that I do feel like F-16, as town, would've been more adept and keeping himself motivated and up-to-date. I'm one to talk, but F-16 certainly spent a great deal of time talking down JS. Coming from someone that had suspected JS early on, it did become increasingly apparent, likely from the end of the first day, that that wasn't where we needed to go.

Analyzing the nightkills, I'm not particularly worried we'd be lynching a Vig in F-16. GB and N have both presented stronger cases on F-16 than I can muster on Nost. I don't agree with them on Nost, but I'm not prepared to make F-16 into any sort of strong townread of mine (in contrast with how GB views Nost, for example).

F-16, let's go ahead and see your claim, please.

In post 815, RedCoyote wrote:So, let me get this straight. You attack Plan B, but you don't have the balls to vote him. So you try to sneak a vote on me at the end instead? When neither of us have any votes? Talk about disingenuous.

F-16, your claim technically adds up, but I still have a sense eating at me that you're not being truthful.

GB, I really want to give y'all support, but I am really, really struggling to see townNost here. Every single post he makes gives me the willies. Had I thought UT was going to be such a hard sell yesterday, I'd have been more than willing to push Nost yesterday. It really only came down to me likely adorkable a teensy bit more.

In post 1011, RedCoyote wrote:Short time until deadline. I don't see momentum behind either of the lynches I'd really support. Either the heads in GB are grossly overestimating my skill level, cannot read me as well as I would've guessed they'd been able to, or are scum.

Emp 1009 wrote:You weren't 'softclaiming' on purpose.

You know damn well that you're overthinking this. This argument is both lazy and grasping at straws. Of course my softclaim is going to coincide with me being in danger. Otherwise it's completely out of place. Additionally, I've pointed out multiple instances of me crumbing my role.

Vote: ArcAngel9

Based on opportunity and GB's point about our Roleblocker. My instinct tells me that this isn't right, but I'm also not prepared to defend this slot given the context of the game. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

OMG, this is obviously scummy move, you know that people are after you and you're using this oppurtunity to get me lynched.

Yes, I am well aware of that.
Unlike you, he voted me straight without having a single reason, its like he is following your vote to save himself for another night.
That's scummy, awfully scummy.

Bah, I tried my best. Sorry to the town. I may have some hecklers in the peanut gallery for lying, but I honestly thought I would be able to garner a little more sympathy with a BP claim than with a VT claim. I didn't expect both GB and Emp to turn on me. I thought about confessing, but this is kind of one of those all-in moves. I definitely would've confessed had a survived another day. In any case, whomever wins... well played. I basically thought everyone surviving here was town (sans N, but I don't think he's scum anymore).

I'm rooting for the SK and the Mafia to shoot each other tonight! :]

For too long RedCoyote had spied on N and Gentlemen Bastards, heart filled with envy, eyes with the glint of desire. Using the infinite wisdom of Wiki Answers, a plan began to form.

~~

"
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle...
"

"Er... no," N said.

He struggled not to laugh, as was so for all the remaining inhabitants of scum street (they happened to be around at the time). For RedCoyote, the shock of rejection was too great, the thought of spending all of his days without his beloved N too much to bear. His only chance was to reveal his secret, long kept hidden beneath the cover of his clothes.

RedCoyote ripped off his shirt, eliciting a synchronised gasp from the crowd. He was a woman! Or, at least, like no man they had ever laid eyes on before.

ArcAngel9 leaned to whisper in N's ear, but was cut off.
"Yes, I don't get it either. He.... she... ugh, whatever it is..... must die!"

RedCoyote,
Town Neighbourizer
, has been lynched Day 5.

It is now Night 5. The deadline for night actions is in (expired on 2013-01-13 17:00:00)

Gentlemen Bastards read the letter once, twice, three times. No fresh look would change the information it held, that JacobSavage was not her father, that someone much more unfortunate was. Sheer hope could not cease the stream of tears down her cheek. She could no longer be with him, that was certain, but would she ever be able to sleep with the thought of another caressing that angelic face, someone else the object of his bottomless stare?

...

N, reading an old diary of his mother, found what she had tried to tell him the night she died, realised how important it was for to say it, and how disastrous it was that she didn't. He made a decision, and made his way to the middle of Scum Street.

He found Gentlemen Bastards there, an elaborate knife mere millimetres away from her body, pointed directly at her heart.

How did she know too?

"N! N! Toon Fighter was my father, not JacobSavage, so you know what that means... Goodbye."
N, looking down at the ground, thought about what this meant.
"No, it's ok, because Toon Fighter was not actually my father! It's ok!"
He looked up to see Gentlemen Bastards lying awkwardly on the road, knife in her chest, eyes unmoving.

"Oh, well there's always Empking..."

Gentlemen Bastards,
Vanilla Townie
, has been killed Night 5.

Day 6 begins. The deadline is in (expired on 2013-01-27 17:00:00).

Players alive: N, Empking, ArcAngel9

With 3 alive, it takes 2 to lynch.

What are you doing?

I guess it makes sense if you're the serial killer. You're hoping Empking, as mafia, would quickhamer, leaving only the two of you alive. And usually in a situation like that, serial killers win out.

Empking,

I'll maybe say my thoughts on the game a bit later, but well done to Empking!

Someone tell me if I'm forgetting to do something obvious.

The roles were mostly what you'd expect from their names.

The Weak Doctor was the dying when visting mafia kind. (Edit: I think I usually have normal doctors only being able to protect from one kill) Note that 4nxi3ty would only die when successfully targeting mafia, yet visited Empking coincidentally on the night he died.

If he didn't have a living neighbour, the nighbourizer could target someone at night and have a QT opened the next day.

Encryptor, while alive, allowed mafia to have daytalk.

The night actions and set-up in are in the Mod QT.

I was half hoping for an entertaining Day 6, but am probably happy that it was over quickly, as I really didn't like the town/mafia/SK endgame. I thought Empking played really well and deserved his win. :)

Thank you all for playing, and thanks especially to the replacements!

N: Did we both kill GB in order to hit the opposite scum? If so, considering the lack of suspicion of him during the days, that amuses me,.

It was half that I thought they might be the serial killer and half that I thought the serial killer might also target them. I knew that if we both killed town, you (or whoever the sk was) would win.
