Right, onto that post now.
Ugh, screw votetags. Why is that seriously a rule.
I find it's working pretty well in this sense.
Lincolm is a newbie. Therefore, stop trying to:
A) Teach him how to play well by example
B) Relay regular tells with him.
He doesn't follow the normal meta of Mafiascum yet.
In post 32, unseencamo wrote:The suspicious part being that you would just allow yourself to lurk, doesn't make sense as a townie. And you "being here" is a little something called active lurking.
VOTE: Lincolm
VOTE: unseencamo
Have you ever seen Empking play?Disturbed_One wrote:Reeks of opportunism. VOTE: Human Destroyer
I don't really like this response
but I'll take the early support when needed
No offense but the reasoning is pretty clear.Lincolm wrote:Reason please.
Serious question here, considering you used "mad" as your first response to me.Lincolm wrote:It is really sadden.
Is English your first language?
Yeah remember the whole "I'll take the support when needed" post waaaaaay back in my postings? In post 43, Tazaro wrote:I trust H.D. for now. Scum doesn't just regularly make a serious vote without explanation.
Yeah, not too sure if you're on our side bud.
Because this is seriously an applicable tell on the beginning of Page 3.unseencamo wrote:Active lurking = posting nothing beneficial.
Then again you're just a newbie acting tough, so I'm not surprised.
When did you try out this new gamestyle? It's a tad bit annoying, really.
You. I like you.ArcAngel9 wrote:but Unseem reaction was unusual...
At any case, his reaction is unusual because he's a noobs and he doesn't know how to push the right buttons at the right time yet.
Right now, he's just going after anyone who looks at him with a bad glance.
Well at least you've improved a little. You still have to account that he's a newbie and doing things in advance is like priority number one.Monkey wrote:Ok, but the fact that he had to state his lurking reasons seems to me that he is overconcerned about how people see him.
Either that or you're just a newbie VI.
While I agree with you on the point that he's not actively lurking (seriously guys, this is page 3. whoever is accusing active lurking should be shot on sight), you do have to post sometimes in a game. This logic is a bit faulty.ArcAngel9 wrote:Its common that sometimes you don't have anything to post than just read and read and read.
The problem is that you can easily give a reason on not talking while being afraid to talk at the same time. No one is going to jump out and say "I'm not talking because ArcAngel9's accusations scare me."ArcAngel9 wrote:Lurking mostly means intentionally avoiding a topic or one's discussion, more as in being afraid to talk
Instead, they'll just make up a normal excuse. The whole goal is to either ignore all excuses or be able to see between the ones that are fake and real.
In addition, if you need to use the above as a reason to lynch/vote someone, you're probably not going after scum.
I agree with 62 and 63. I believe that Human Destroyer is town but he's not the towniest of people, if that makes sense.
OMGUS? At least I'm contributing! In post 72, unseencamo wrote:Fencesitting? At least I am contributing.
What the hell do these two have to with each other.
Venrob wrote:Note: Reason for me not counting bolded votes is that my DS does not show bold, but does show vote tags.-

Join date in addition to early game reactions.Lincolm wrote:Why you think I'm newbie?
Wrong tense and words. Nbd though.Lincolm wrote:No. Wrong word I use I assume? Lol
I do? This is why the above does frighten me.Lincolm wrote:Why you don't think he is newbie?
Because it furthers my read that he's a newbie and does these actions as scum.Lincolm wrote:I bet "he" in here is unseencamo? Then why you vote him?
You. But pointless question, really.Lincolm wrote:So, who is the towniest for you? Do not say that is yourself.
@Disturbed: Just realizing that not fully explaining your reads is a viable tactic for certain people.-

Most games have atleasta two week deadline for Day 1.
http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=23424 (10 Days for a MICRO game of 7 People)
http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=21855 (2 Weeks for 16 Players)
http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=21383 (2 Weeks for 14 People)
Calling 12 Days for 9 People somewhat of a gift is absolutely absurd.
In addition, the last game even shows that Page 4 is going as slow as this game. Sure--the other two are different but the other two are drastically different then normal games.
Also, just because it's in the rules doesn't make it a good rule. You basically made it so that an extension was a gift to an already suffering deadline.
Finally, you must've seen that rule literally in one or two games because I've NEVER been in a game where time was taken away. That's absurd and extremely scum-oriented.
Scum could be lurking just so that rule could go into effect.-

No. This is an Open Game. Nothing is reviewed setup/game-wise.
Also, just to fact check, the little "leme take away time if I feel that everyone isn't posting enough" isn't in your rules. It's a little note that's added in the first post. I'd like a final declaration on your motives toward this and other opinions on this, thanks.-

Yeah but can we seriously talk about this deadline thing again?
Literally--pleasenever do that again.
The period of around 3 days where I was silent in this game after the deadline talk was because I was seriously considering pulling a huge douchebag move to replace out because the whole deadline scenario was a horribly bad call.-
