I got my role PM and clicked on the game thread without even thinking about it.

I wondered if the game was open, because I saw that people were actually posting and not /confirming. So I went back to my role PM and saw that I had to PM a /confirm.

Im pretty sure Rondar was telling the truth when he said that the thread didn't say pregame and he got excited and started voting. I tyhink if he were scum, he would have visited his scum QT and it would have been more obvious that it was pregame (especially since scum cards say they dont have daytalk anyways). So if he had a QT he was allowed to post in, he would have realized the game probably wasn't starting yet.

If that makes any sense. I just think Rondar legitimately thought the game was open and that probably would not have been the case if he rolled scum and had reason to believe otherwise. Xegarus kinda looked he was along for the ride there though.

I mean, it wasn't obvious at all to me. I had loosely tossed around some setup spec in my head and I'd be shocked if there were no cop in the game.

But it never ocurred to me that NL would ever be an even remotely good strategy (its not).

And unless hes an alt account, I strongly doubt someone that joined 2 months ago is under the impression that a NL in this semi open setup is scuh an assumed standard plan that he should just go ahead an vote NL in RVS with no added reason.

I think I dont want to lynch BBMolla at all. If he is a doc, and we lynch mafia Today, the RB can't block and kill in the same night. He could protect Rondar, and they would have to kill him. Making lylo me/rondar/{CDB/Xeg} and that would be a really easy vote for me since Im sure Rondar is town.

Re Xeg: I didn't like his opening post today. The phrasing of "I claim VT" as opposed to "I am a VT" seemed off to me. I didn't like that he is so sure about BBM/CDB right off the bat. Hell, I've been paranoid about everyone all game. Not sure why Xeg thinks I am town so assuredly. Also Xeg's questions D1 seem a bit fake. Basically all the points implosion made against him in the quote strip wall make sense to me. Implosion spent a lot of posts FoSing Xeg, even if he ended up on CDB.

Re Why Xeg over CDB: CDB hasn't done much this game. The hammer was awful, but I have seen awful town hammers. I didn't like his math justification about cop probability, but nothing else he has posted really stood out. Him sitting on the fence about who was scummy Today seemed slightly townish, but I also didn't like the lack of AtE from him Today. He is trying to defend his play and isn't saying "Ugh, Im town, I guess we deserve this loss" which is what I've come to expect from town players in tough spots. I dunno. It really probably is Xeg/CDB.
