I find it's best to defend the weirdest angle possible. Especially when I'm lurking.

Like, for instance, defender, my vote on taskmaster has 3 possibilities if we're both scum. 1) I'm bussing him to lynch. 2) I had a plan on how to get off later. 3) I was just hoping things will turn out for the best and I get an opportune moment to get off later.

2 is inconsistent with my play thus far, and 1 and 3 are kinda stupid, especially given how stalled this game is so why the hell are we the two bottom of your reads list?

Actually, after rechecking how votes were going on taskmaster when I voted, I can't believe I was about to vote defender, as treble is pretty scummy. But actually, I think I'll do it anyway he's so scummy. He has ONE read that's not a lean or null.

The main issue was it had so many nulls and weak reads. A reads case is an easy way to appear like you're contributing even if it says absolutely nothing of value.

Generic, my problem with defender isn't the lack of explanation for the reads, it's the reads themselves. He decided to post a full readlist with everyone included where half the playerlist is null, and there isn't anything but leans on all but one of the rest. It's a very flexible readlist.

I only have distinct reads on 3 or 4 of you, so at this stage in the game I don't think that counts as a scumtell.

Sure. But if you were to say your reads, would you say "A is townish, B is townish, C is scummy, D is scummy, E is null, F is null..." or something like "A is townish, B is scummy, everyone else is null."

About #532, what was scummy was the reads list. I didn't make reads, but I didn't make it seems like I had. The comment on #876, um, lurking is part of my meta for both alignments, really. It's more scummy, but I DO do it as town through part of some games. Rarely through all the game as town, usually whenever I can as scum.

And yeah, cases are subjective opinions on the evidence of play. I can't dispute the evidence, and I can't like, fairly dispute someone's opinion on my own play?

I lurk as scum because my town style gets me lynched too much, probably because it doesn't do anything to stop your scumread, it just invites you to try form a townread off later play which is never gonna happen if you've already got a scumread.
