I think he has read the game pretty well do far. Notmara has been trying along with voodoo lady to scumhunting with a case attached. Just because notmaras case was weak doesnt mean wasn't trying, and he dropped it when he realised he was wrong.

You and mutley have been the same, pissing about with the jokes rather than participate with scumhunting, why would either of you think meta would make that acceptable? Mutley is more genuine than you cos he seems to shrug and realise if he chooses to play like that he will be considered scummy.
