Lynch minus 2 is not bad, for the main reason that for that person to get lynched, BOTH of the scum would have to quickly pile on.

Lynch minus 2 is risky. It gives clueless townies the opportunity to third-vote, or to hammer after a scum third-vote.

Which is why I try to make a habit of pointing out the dangers of a third vote at the beginning of my newbie games.
