Not sure if this counts as a second to Venmar's nomination, but
nominate xRECKONERx for Most Memorable moment for his game-winning hammer
.

Nominate Generic for Most Cunning Manipulator
in Mini 1463.

So you might recall that that's the same game where I got nominated for most memorable event. Anyway, Generic somehow juggled both deceiving in the main thread and the neighbor QT, and basically played me from Day 2 to endgame for an easy win. Virtually no one suspected him, and his and Om's bussing D1 set up a good late game.

All in all a scumgame to make you rethink what you thought you knew.

Second generic

I was going to do this myself, but I thought it would look like I was just nominating everything from my own game.

Personally I think that's more deserving of a scumteam nom instead of just a nom for Generic. I'm not trying to toot my own horn here but both NTP and myself played valuable roles in the game too. For instance I was helping make the strategies for Generic to follow (he executed them extremely well so props to him) and NTP served as the platform for our townreads due to us bussing him. Upon that I was the main pusher behind most of the town lynches in the game (especially the Smudger lynch, which I basically campaigned hard on and managed to win over enough people to get him lynched).

That's not to say Generic is undeserving of the nom though.

Nominate the town of Perpetual MyLo II for Best Performance Pro-Town Team

Game link

In a game with five experienced scum members (out of twelve player slots) and no town power roles, a setup which many would consider scum-sided, the town managed to lynch scum three days in a row. They never mislynched despite the large amount of anti-town influence in thread. I never had to replace anyone and several town players called out the entire five person scum team almost perfectly on
day 1
. They fully utilized their time on the first day but after that they needed little to no time to organize the subsequent two scum lynches despite half the playerlist working towards acheiving mislynches. I gave the town two weeks per game day. However, they needed ~82 hours in total for days 2 and 3 to get the last two game winning lynches- no cop guilties, no scum claims, no confirmed/easy lynches, but efficient scum hunting instead. I think that is impressive considering this setup requires almost all of the townies to be on the same page at the same time. Very good town coordination overall.

Looking through this game, I am keeping my Nth but I am curious what criteria Wicket used to determine "experienced" scum, most of that scum team were newer players only been on site earlier this year. I have been playing for over 3 years and I still suck as scum.

Still an Impressive feat to win in a 5 scum team game.

I don't think how long one has been onsite is equivalent to how good one is as scum/town...

Agreed. Bulbazak, for example, hasn't been here very long but I can personally attest that he has a pretty good scumgame (and I dont' feel like his towngame is bad, either, though I only really have my nightless to reference for that). Meanwhile, I've been here for 2 years already and I don't think I've really been a strong player as either role (though I do think my scumgame is better than my towngame, personally).

Alright.
Nominate the scumteam of Mini 1463 for Best Performance: Scum.
Because I like scumteam noms. :P

...No, but seriously. I read quite a bit of that game. They played together as a team rather wonderfully. They all had an equal part in that victory, even if Generic was the star of that show. Good, solid play all-around.

Nominate Qwints for Best Replacement

For his performance in Mini 1468.

--

I gotta say I felt someone deserved a nom for this game and its defo Qwints. The setup was 4:8 mountainous nightless open where all players were divided into 6 pairs that shared a QT (but not necessarily alignment).

Qwints replaced into a wagon on his Scum-slot in this mountainous setup. The slot's previous occupant lurked pretty hard and drew some negative associations with the one flipped scum already. It basically looked like town was going to lynch correctly twice in a row and take the game down to 7:2 very early on which would be very difficult to come back from as scum.

Despite suffering from pre-existing pressure on his scum slot in a daunting game, Qwints was in high-spirits for the whole game and managed to produce content steadily and shake people off of him enough to avoid the lynch TWICE despite being ran up on back to back days. He played well when pirate_mollie was up for a lynch and managed to work his way into voting the Majiffy CW despite possible backlash for him.

The long and short is that this guy had way too much spirit given the circumstances, was a team player (I honestly think that the team would have fallen apart if one of us had been lynched), and his team would have lost the game if he hadn't replaced in.

Did I mention that the people tunneling on him were scary people? Its true, they were. So many big and noisy players wanted Qwints dead dead gone, but he kept going despite all that.
