I found Kaze's initial reaction scummy becuase he was a lot more cautious to a previous miller claim. However, his insistence in the Boat game that a miller claim is not null followed by his push on Bert here actually makes a lot more sense as town because he seems to have differing reactions based on each claim. He doesn't believe that it is actually null, and in this game, he seems to believe that it is scummy. Kaze, I would like to know what your reasons are and how you differentiate the miller claims.

I was putting pressure on Bert hoping to get something out of him. I don't actually have a strong read on him yet though at the time I actually kinda liked how he dropped the claim and took off. Made me feel like he was doing it for reactions more than anything. All this jazz is kinda moot now that the "Weak" modifier talk is going on, though.

In the advertisement for the game, it specifically says that the HUMAN faction gets maneuver gear, so it makes no sense for the scum, who already lack the gear, to get the special prefix.

Kagami was actively looking to get other players to claim. Lack of a weak signifier means PR abilities. Kagami not only sought to get people to claim having abilities, but also asserted that only town could have it. She pretended that it was the usual weak like a weak doctor, despite apparently knowing that it is not. She pushed for more discussion and claims over it. Everyone who replied "what do you mean, weak miller?" outed themselves as a PR. But they would not have if she hadn't revealed what it actually meant. I think it is far more likely that she or part of the scum team is a goon and has the weak modifier, hence how they know what it means. They're the only ones who get to see multiple PMs.

It looked like simple rolefishing until page 5, where she was just asking more weak people to claim, back when everyone thought that weak was the town-signifying modifier that it usually is. Then she revealed what it really means, and I (foolishly) hesitated. But after a little more thought, it looks like a deliberate attempt to get people to reveal that they are not weak before they understood the significance.

The explanation of what the modifier really meant gave me pause, but now I feel much more certain.

a couple assumptions i'm making about this setup based on my role:

- setup is single faction, 10:3 (not explaining this, don't ask)
- scum don't have day talk (see above)
- one of the three main characters is scum (mod insistence that flavour has nothing to do with alignment has me thinking this is likely the case, as does something else - and if i had to guess which, i'd say eren)
- scum probably already know my character flavour. not that it really matters

I've been trying pretty hard to figure out Dan's affiliation. In 252, I attempt to prod him into the game and start providing reasoning for his reads. I clarified his misrep to see if he understands where he went wrong. I have been trying to pressure him into towntelling if he is town.

In my interactions with Myk, I debunked his claim of meta. I pointed out that he has never played with me as scum before. I also asked him to show an example of me making a post like 92 as scum.

Compare Myk's and Dan's responses:
Dan continues to troll and provide no reasoning for his reads despite being probed about it.
He says "don't be cajoled by scum" which doesn't do anything to advance the gamestate.
Myk continues to provide no reasoning despite his being debunked.

For those of you playing along at home, I'd like to explain why I believe the Mastin/F-16 hydra to be probscum. It's mainly based around one simple, but very relevant tell:

Scum-Mastin is quite arrogant.(Above quote from Les Mis for example ) If I recall correctly it's a means of swaying town into believing he believes what he says, but regardless, it's being exhibited here. Especially when asked why F-16 asked for help. "hai guys I'm here to save this slot and probably be awesome as tits and get nightkilled tonight for awesomeness" is some pretty bold stuff. I'm not saying Mastin hasn't confidence as both alignments, but one must wonder what the intentions are behind such words in this game, yes? It sounds to me like Mastin is attempting to drill into our minds something akin to "I'm an asset, and if you touch me you're an idiot." He could have just said "I'm here to help out F-16" and left it, but he didn't. It's needlessly grandiose and reads like some serious posturing. After that, most of his refutations are pretty much "I'm not scum, quit being ridiculous, I'm here to lynch scum and win this game" further hammering that "I'm an asset" idea into every post. I'm getting awful feels, here.

That said, I still believe Pasch to be scum and if I could lynch both in one day, I would. But I suppose one step at a time will suffice. Just be mindful of this one.
