Game Specific Rules

• In addition to alignments, this game includes a polarity mechanic. At the beginning of the game, players can choose between the Light polarity and the Dark polarity, unless they are informed otherwise.
• Each night, players may choose to switch their polarity, unless they are told otherwise. These changes will go into effect immediately.
• Night actions will be tuned to a player’s current polarity. If an action hits a player of the opposite polarity, then the action will go through. If an action hits a player of the same polarity, then the action will be absorbed by the player and blocked.
• Polarity changes and actions regarding polarities go into effect before all other actions.
• At the start of each day, each player will receive a PM with their current polarity. This is effectively your day start PM.
• Each vote count will be accompanied by the current Field Polarity, which tells what the polarity of a majority of the players are. If there is a tie between the Light and Dark polarity, the Field Polarity will be Neutral.

As you might imagine, this game will be swingy, as successful actions rely on choosing correctly. As such, it is recommended that you have played at least one large theme game.

Sunday marks the 3 week deadline that is required for large themes during low demand. I'll probably have all Sunday to try to get the last slots if push came to shove, but sign ups have to close by the day's end.

I'm actually considering this. The only hydra I know that exists in order for both players to play the game is the Mastin/Antihero hydra. Therefore, if it comes down to splitting up hydras, I'd like to leave them for last, as I'd risk losing 1 slot instead of gaining one. I'll try to see if I can talk a few more people in, but if not, I'll be splitting hydras up late tonight. Any members of hydras that have a problem with that should PM me.
