I'm only interested in the situation between #98 (your refusal to L-1) and #147 (intent to hammer).

I see your #98 stating that we should spend the 19 days, then Hopkirk getting to L-1, then getting a bit of breathing space with an unvote, and then back on L-1, at which point he claims miller. This is when #147 comes into play.

What bothers me is that you're justifying #147 with what happened after it.

It requires a shift in attitude

to go from #98 to #147, and I don't see sufficient reasons for you to do so in between the posts.

Not sure I understand all of that but the hammer was protown to me so he gets a pass day 2. Dark hasn't done anything and his reaction to shos was a scum claim.

The only thing I can think of is that there is more support for a Hop lynch so he's content in that wagon knowing he has that fake white knighting accusation in his back pocket.

Posts like these made it very difficult for you to influence other town players.

Anyway, this was a wonderful game for me, I don't know about you guys.

I tracked Mr. Ree night 1 so I knew he was some sort of a PR. I couldn't pass the chance to hammer him without a claim. In the end, it was a winning move for our team, because had I not done it at the time, it would have resulted in a cop claim and a follow the cop every night until we found the doctor. With the danger in the rearview, picking apart the rest of the town was a piece of cake. On night 1, we chose to kill Cuttlefish, and I suspect he was doc protected. On Night 4, we chose to no kill since every town member seemed to be suspecting another town member, except you, Beck, but you were so disruptive to the town that we couldn't bring ourselves to eliminate you. In the end, we voted 2 to 1 in favor of killing tonight, instead of prolonging the game. I was intent on finishing this game today.

You failed to gain credibility, build relationships, and you acted self-entitled. This game is about trust and collaboration, and you failed miserably at both. Can you tell me what purpose it serves to make negative comments about everyone in the game? Because when you do that, you’re playing into my hands. You become a strategic asset to me and my partners. A valuable pawn that we intend to keep for as long as we can, to disrupt, and ultimately destroy our enemies.

I suspect that you’re only putting down other town players as a psychological defense mechanism to cover up your feelings about your own inadequacy, to protect your ego from the severe beating you and the town took in this game, from which you’re desperately trying to shift the responsibility for. When you calm down, take some time for self-reflection, you might realize that there’s nothing inherently wrong with your thought process or intentions. The fault is where you consistently demonstrate very obvious behaviors that influence how other people perceive and react negatively to you. Don’t be ashamed to admit that you’re wrong, everybody has blind spots. With sufficient willpower, any bad habit in this game can be corrected. The internet, and this forum in particular, is a wonderful place to train your mind to be more resilient to external feedback, to self-admitted mistakes, and failures.
