If you do post any questions/comments in the thread which are directed at me, please bold that question/comment - it's not required, but it will ensure that I see/respond to your question/comment as soon as possible.
This is a game. While I expect you to play to your win condition, ultimately the purpose of this game is to have fun. Enjoy, but don't ruin the game for others.

. Unvoting is not required if you are switching your vote. Vote tags are also allowed (e.g. VOTE: Wickedestjr or UNVOTE: ). You may not vote for "No-lynch", lynching is mandatory in this specific setup.
In order for a player to be lynched, that player must receive a majority of the votes in play before the deadline arrives. If none of the players have received a majority of the votes before the deadline arrives then plurality deadline rules apply and the player with the highest number of votes will be eliminated.
In order for the town to perform a no-lynch, you would have to first ignore the part where I said you couldn't no-lynch and then embarrass yourselves trying to do it even though you can't.
If a player in the game dies, they are allowed a single 'Bah' post until the game is over. 'Bah' posts can't say anything relevant to the game unless you are encouraging your team. Otherwise, the post will be replaced by 'Bah. Go Town!' or 'Bah. Go Mafia!' depending on your allignment.
Day and Night:
The town will have two weeks each game day to decide who they want to lynch, unless they are given an extension.
I may extend the deadline for the day or night if I feel that a deadline extension is necessary and/or many players have requested one. A deadline extension during the night may occur if many players are V/LA, regardless of said players' allignments.
If you are reading this, then you are probably reading all of the rules. Nice job! Your likelihood of winning just went up five percent.
The mafia will have 48 hours to submit their night action during the night.
Activity and Prods:
If you plan to be V/LA during the game, you should either send me a private message, mention your V/LA in the thread, and/or submit your V/LA via the user control panel. Please bold your V/LA if you mention it in the thread.
If you don't mention any V/LAs but go 60 hours without posting, I will send you a prod. If you go another 24 hours without posting in the thread, I will search for another player (a player that isn't already in the game, obviously ) to replace you.
Modkills:
If you discuss other ongoing games in this thread, you will be modkilled or force replaced.
If you discuss this game outside of the thread in a way that your role doesn't allow, then you will be modkilled.
If you break any of the other general rules, you may be force replaced.
If a player is mod-killed during the day, then the game will proceed as if that player had been lynched.

The Setup
This game contains;
Two Mafia Goons
Five Vanilla Townies
Two
Chosen
Townies (given vanilla townie role pms, not aware that they are chosen, only mafia know of their identities)
How does it work?
Before the game starts, the mafia will select a town-aligned player to veto. That player cannot and will not become a 'Chosen Townie'.
I will randomly select two of the remaining six town-aligned players- those two players will be the 'Chosen Townies'. The mafia will be informed of the Chosen Townies' identities but, again, the Chosen Townies will not be told that they are Chosen. Chosen Townies will appear as Chosen (to everyone) if they are ever lynched.
The mafia cannot night kill either of the Chosen Townies.
The mafia win when they outnumber the town or nothing can prevent the same. The only condition is that one of the Chosen Townies must be lynched before the mafia have outnumbered the town, otherwise town wins. 1 or 2 Mafia vs. 2 Chosen is a town win.

It has been brought to my attention that blue would be a better color for me to use given that colored reads lists often use the colors red and green. So from now on blue is my color - the opening posts will be edited to reflect this change.

The outcome is solely based on number of votes at thread closing. In general, the player listed at the top of the vote count would be lynched when deadline hit. For example;
Current Vote Count wrote:Lying Cat - [2] - Guilty Gunsmith, awestfie
BlueBloodedToffee - [2] - Heartless, T S O
Flubbernugget - [1] - Josh_B
T S O - [1] - ZZZX
Guilty Gunsmith - [1] - Lying Cat
Heartless - [1] - BlueBloodedToffee
awestfie - [1] - Flubbernugget
So if deadline hit right now, then Lying Cat would be lynched. Lying Cat is listed higher on the vote count because they received two votes before BlueBloodedToffee received two votes.
There is one exception to this time tiebreaker. If I voted BlueBloodedTofee (I'm not a player in this game, but just an example) then BlueBloodedToffee would be listed highest because they would have more votes than anyone else. If I unvoted, then BlueBloodedToffee would still be listed at the top because he would still be tied for most number of votes and nobody else would have re-passed him. Even though Lying Cat received two votes first, I would still list BlueBloodedToffee as highest in that scenario.
That would be my thought process if there was a tie vote at deadline. I don't know of any other simpler method. Given that this town will always have an odd number of members during the day, hopefully this never becomes relevant.

The town discussed who they wanted to lynch. And then they discussed some more. They voted a lot too.
Flubbernugget said he was a two-shot vengeful werewolf but the town thought this was a lie because 'two-shot' seemed too powerful. Oh and also because that role's not possible in this setup.
In the end, Flubbernugget quickly received five votes. He probably didn't even see it coming. That's a majority, so he was lynched.

T S O went to the beach during the night to think about the game and recent scum flip. He went to swim in the water but then remembered he couldn't swim. By the time he remembered, it was already too late. The last mafia goon was on lifeguard duty so T S O was not saved.

Friendly reminder: keep it civil. Please try to keep cursing and insults to a minimum. Also, communicate in a fair and appropriate way - not in a manner that would provoke anger or frustration. This is a game. I really don't want to eject anyone, because I feel like that ruins the fun but the alternative (keeping uncivil behavior) is no better. Consider this a warning, even if you are not guilty of disrespectful behavior thus far (thanks, but sorry, you don't get a turn). If I have to force replace someone, then I will not hesitate to do so.
