It feels as if he's just asking questions for the sake of it (how in the world would someone seriously think my 53 was an "honest mistake" akin to not knowing about neighborhoods as in 23?), and presenting really weak reasons as serious ones in order to hop onto the largest wagon.

Empking is a bad lynch to rally around as a last minute thing, I think. Empking is the king of playing the same as both alignments. He's literally someone I aspire to be more like in that specific aspect play-wise. The reason I bring that up is because, as usual, I have no idea if this is scum or town Empking. Um, but I would say that someone that is as easy to understand and opinionated as Empking is is someone I would rather leave around longer. I think if we're playing with scumEmpking, he'll trip up eventually, so we don't need to take this chance.

I think that Empking does play similarly as both alignments and is generally a hard to read player, which makes him a better lynch because time won't bring the same clarity regards to his alignment as it might elsewhere. I also think that at a point where most major wagons in the game are shit I'm happier moving with a vote that's mostly gut where I probably wouldn't make this vote in a normal game ever.

Technically, it's an attack on Nacho since he sometimes likes to go for easier targets when he's scum. Except he was in a neighborhood with Empking, so it was town-motivated this time.

I just think it's funny RC gets to cherry pick my iso and half the people on my wagon think it's indicative of a scum-me as if a scum-me likes to open up games with chainsaws on my buddies. There are other things I'd say in defense, but it would just resemble Muffin's. And people like Notty whose reads completely resemble around the idea of me being scum need to have their confidence shattered with my townflip.

RC is still the most optimal vig shot. He's scummy as hell and even if you think there's the small chance he could be town, he needs to die sooner rather than later just based on his claim. And if my death needs to happen before the vig shoots him, then so be it.

I don't have confidence in reading Muffin. The best I have is that he sorta fits in line with the Empking flip and my RC read. And I feel like he's been doing things that could be scum-motivated (i.e. advocating the Nacho wagon when Kats was joking, not helping us push through a lynch yesterday).

Other than that, my other scumreads include DV (kind of manipulative but doesn't fit in with my RC read), Sala (because he's shiny), and maybe one of Desp/Nati/bins because they're all an enigma to me. Everyone else is some sort of town despite a lot of them not being able to tell the difference between a scum-tell and an obviously-not-scum-tell.

DeasVail, I really enjoyed this post. It was well-thought out and made sense to me, and I do think you're town (unless it turns out later on that the flipped town were generally insane and the flipped scum were the reasonable one).

However, I still like the idea of lynching Brian Skies today. My reasoning doesn't lie with that earlygame Empking commentary. It's not even related to Empking at all, whether that's for the better or for the worse. I think Brian Skies is scum just because of a mixture of his play in the late portion of Day 1, things that had to do with the SleepyKrew wagon, and gut reading.
