Mod has the thread up. I have pm'd him asking when role PMs are going out but he hasn't responded yet. I think he was traveling.

This is correct. Mina PMs a mod, mod PMs setup back, then [ Mina PMs mod back, thread goes up ] not necessarily in that order, and Role PMs will go out then. It's a process and I will not jump the gun on that process and I will check this site daily, as in within 24 hours of the last time I checked it. I was in Cleveland, Ohio through Wednesday and was busy with a day-long rehearsal yesterday. Not that I need to justify myself to anybody other than Mina, I just don't want to have to respond to pestering PMs - you're fine, Jake. I'm referring to other ones I received.

Thanks to everybody who offered, but I'm glad I send double-check PMs. This happens a lot to me, so I'm guessing it's not an isolated issue, but I'd just like to say I think it's a little silly to offer to replace and then say you can't because you also offered to replace in another game and now that you're in that one you aren't willing to do both.

2. What are the day/night phase lengths for newbie games?

1. Depends! Right now, based on Mina's ISO, it's about 1-5 days. Check post 0 for information on this.
   
2. Usually Days are 2 real-life (RL) weeks and Nights are 2 RL days. This varies from mod to mod and from game to game.
   
3. All Newbie Games are all the same variable Open (or Semi-Open) Setup. Check post 0 for information on this.
   
4. Yes, but exact requirements vary from mod to mod and from game to game.
   
5. Yes, but most mods will ask that you use them sparingly or in spoilers. In general, be reasonable when using colored text or gifs in-game. As for the BBCode...

8. Not in the sense you mean, I'm fairly certain. Once you've gotten enough votes to be lynched, you may sometimes have time to post game content before the mod posts a vote count with your official death and locks the thread for Night, but after you have been declared dead by the mod you cannot post at all, whether you were lynched or killed at Night.
