I also gave a reason for why I was questioning him on it.

Why do you feel all your reads are shit? Are there any you feel confident about?

The scumread on you actually makes me incredibly good about the clear on orc. Five to six IRL days ago, somebody in my hood expressed a signifigant scumread on you. I don't think scum orc in a scum partnership with one of them does a clearing gambit and then pre-empts orc in a scum-ffery case.

Like I said upthread somewhere, to me the potential clear is incidental. his play is town.

That's cool that you control the neotank. Well, I have two votes too so I guess we'll just see what happens after I vig notscience. I stopped caring about this game a long time ago.

I don't know what the neotank does or if it has anything to do with my votes or my character. I never kept a test in place long enough because nati isn't exactly posting vote counts every page.

As opposed to whom? I remember a few claims, and only one of them was in response to Albert (after we'd already expressed a desire to lynch him). It could have just been him looking for a good target to 'vig' (or whatever you want to call it).

Like I said, the thing that bothers me the most is him claiming his wincon unprompted (which makes little sense to me regardless of whatever alignment he might have) and his claimed wincon resembling (but not matching) Honeybee's. It's like Honeybee-lite.

No, I think he was rolefishing.

Brian, I don't know what prior experience with ABR has you interpreting his play the way you are, but it's making very little sense to me.

I thought SMP looked pretty town for his case on flubber. But there are a couple things about his ISO that trouble me some, and not just his weak sorta-defense of Lynx early on.

essentially asking what our neighborhood name was, pinged pretty fucking hard after seeing Lynx's role PM.

kinda explained where he was coming from with that, but it still pings.

Right now I'm feeling data overload, and there's a lot of stuff I haven't fully processed and gotten square in my head. I'm not sold on SMP-town any more. I want NotSci's thoughts about him vs flubber.

STD you've had a null-ish/scum-ish read of me for quite a while now, but you've never explained it or tried to figure me out via interactions.

That's the sort of thing that worries me in a player that I think is usually proactive.

Maybe I'm wrong about you usually being proactive?

Have you missed the parts in this thread where I've been needlessly and pitifully been whining about how busy my life is? I know it's not fair, I'm sure other people have it worse than I do. I'm at a point where I just cannot put the effort I normally do into games.

ok. my life has been horrendously crazy during this game (and for several months prior) so I can sympathize with not having time/energy/free mental capacity to play a normal game.

It seems like your read comes down to "was on a wagon I think has scum on it" with maybe a few flourishes about other stuff.

I don't see how anyone could look at that late-day-2 middle of the night dust up between me and orci and see anything other than town paranoia on his part. My part is probably more ambiguous, but ambiguity is my middle name, so we all get to deal with that.

I had concerns before he picked it up some, though his reads were very close to dead-on with mine. I don't have concerns now. I think he's town.

You are pretty confident in Flubber-scum and MafiaSSK-scum, then? Or am I misinterpreting this?

@Flubber: How would your flip prove SMP scum, please?

He pokes his head in to say I'm scum for playing like shit then leaves and everyone is complacent with it. It has nothing to do with my pm.

This is your proof that I'm scum?

Do tell, what exactly have you done in this game that's been town or has helped the town's game at all?

See what I mean?

I see that your argument for why he's scum fits your own posting better than his.

That's why I didn't want to put him at L-1.

I think he'll probably claim if he gets a chance. Cabd can probably recall some of his claims as scum as well as I can.

I'm going to be semi-AFK for the next few hours.

My target was Ffery

There was no way in hell I was going to succeed so I just wanted them to NK ffery so I could become town.

I never received a message N1, I lied about it to try and pretend it was an amnesiac cop, i was going to come out with a guilty on ffery on the day that I could only have Blue Moon vote since i figured convincing 3 people to vote for a target would be easier than convincing a whole town.

...but then there was a scum messenger and I rode that for townie points instead.

I'm not sure what I would have done today, I couldn't think up another plan, probably would have just hoped for the best.

Guess I was off about Saki and Boo :/

That was going to be a tough wincon to fulfill in this game.

I enjoyed the game, though all the paranoia about being spied on in our neighborhood made things a little crazy during the last game day/night.

The role was interesting and a lot of fun trying to figure out. With all the other strange stuff going on, I wasn't sure what events might have been caused by me.

Notsci, I got access to your neighborhood on day 2. I could have posted, but I was worried there might be scum in your hood.

It's kinda cool that the Bolt neighborhood start up sorted all the town out of the big neighborhood!

p-edit I don't think I got to pick a specific role?

Since you're here, ffery. In case you didn't figure it out, this post was what made me Townread you so hard.

I wasn't sure what had contributed to your townread! This makes sense, though, I think.

My play over the last 6 months has been a downward spiral.

I'm hopeful that the next game I play, I won't be phoning it in!

Thanks! I really enjoyed playing with you as well. Quantity doesn't always equal quality, unfortunately, but I loved this player list and I definitely was putting what concentration I had into this game.

Really? I thought Lash would have been a character you'd pick.

@Varsoon: Sorry I lynched you. But I'd like you to know I did use your wagon and interactions to help sort my reads. :(

Honeybee was talking about a night action I bought from her on day 3:

-[New CO]-x1-The player who buys this item will learn what COs are not present in the game, and may add one to the game of their same alignment. A new role without a vote will be created, and that player will have two roles. Costs 4 Stars

I may not have understood how this worked, though!

Lash was my first pick. I expected to get an inventor role. The dreaming god aspect was a surprise.
