Other than that, will try to read up more tomorrow.

Still catching up (page 32), first large game and didn't realize 20 pages were possible almost overnight. I do have to say that THIS is not sitting well with me, especially on day 1. Trying to sway a doc's target in a game this large, where there are more than likely uncommon power roles, this early just doesn't sit well with me.

I also am getting the strange feeling that there are in fact 4-5 people playing this game. I hope that changes soon (again, just a page < 33 post). I also hoped Varsoon actually scumhunted or set up a better case against others instead of "I'm town, don't lynch me", which never really helps.

Will post again once I have fully caught up.

Alright. Finally got a good chunk of free time, and will scour the pages now. Actual participation standing by. I've been hoping my neighbor would give me some summaries over the last few days, but it appears they have yet to catch up as well.

At Page 41, and I actually agree with Marangal about not lynching Varsoon, as obnoxious as Varsoon was to read (not sure why Marangal was on a wagon, I guess I'll find out.) So much for wanting to join the in-crowd (and sneak in some *'s! How scummy! <3)

This, I can agree with...

But then, this and this made me weary. Then a vote on me! (The agony!)

Unvote
No star points for me, I suppose.

Should we encourage a 'townread players on the wagons' policy to increase their star points?

@Bookitty - I don't recall being on the 'main wagon' as you decided to state. I said I agreed with the lynch (at the time, before xthousand more posts popped up). Please be a little more concise.

@SMP - Its nothing new, is it? Get a nice little town recognition, then start lynching lurkers. They flip town: "Oops, shoulda posted more, eh? Next!"

I'm torn about this, now. Would you really defend someone who hasn't done a thing for the game and risk them being scum? Some of your plays are just... erratic. And didn't you vote me? Wait a minute! Were you being sarcastic!?

Sorry for the delay and terrible attempt to get star points (I really like using CO powers, guys!) I'll probably have to read again before making solid claims, as its my first large game and I wasn't fully prepared.

I'll happily answer any questions if you direct them to me and link the original post(s). But nobody has suggested letting town players lynch for *, and I think that makes cents. I mean sense.

@Bookitty, sorry. I think I meant to say something to you and forgot to change names. Last time I try to get 30 pages in rapidly!

Those of you asking why I voted Mara, I admitted trying to cash in on star points. Shameful, I know. I was skimming around the pages and it seemed she was getting rope attention. I won't cast votes without being informed again. I kind of explained this a page ago, btw.

@STD - Lol! Two *s for you!

I'm assuming from the lack of responses that my idea isn't agreeable?

I would have investigated orcinus N1 for trying to direct doc actions. Sure, he tried to safeguard any scrutiny through it, but it didn't feel right to me.

And why are people insisting I joined Varsoon's wagon? Is my name on there without my knowledge or something?

What do you guys think are the odds of scum in a two-person hood given a game of this size? :/

Anyway, throughout the reading, orcinus is actually one of very few, if any, that stood out to me.
Cheetory6's post here actually mirrors some of the things that didn't sit well. Also due to the doc manipulation he tried to pull D1, orc's the only one I'm comfortable saying I have a scum read on.

As far as the Mara interactions, it seems like a lot of loose ends were created there. A quick ISO of yoghurts seems to show that he's content posting behind a veil where his actions look useful but don't help us out at all. Can we believe #1613?

I tend to take an anti-lurk stand in my games, but I know doing that here would be quite hypocritical considering. But I'm hoping to change that soon as I continue to read into things. (I wanted to suggest something related to this, but I think at this point it'll only worsen any scumreads on me).

Wondering why you're so keen on trying to manipulate night actions, sleepy_pikachu. From what I've seen, players don't go around giving orders to the town doc (that may or may not exist, too). Ah, and then you go and mention soft claims. Right?

I sure hope you feel better hopping onto my easy wagon instead of pursuing your crusade. :)

Ugh? Konowa, I'll link those posts when I find them. Its two different players stating that I was
ON
the wagon, when I never voted for Varsoon. Voting and saying "I'm sold" are two different things, especially considering that was 20 pages before the hammer. Trying to make me sound scummy using intangible facts is just gross. And I can understand hating my for my Mara post, though after reading through (and seeing orc's case against her) I'm curious about her too.

@orc, it doesn't feel right because it seems like unnecessary manipulation so early, with so many potential PR's floating around (I'm sure scum has more than one good PR in a game of this size). I'm surprised you're questioning me about that single thing and ignoring the fact that I'm using someone else's case against you. Ah, well.

@Bookitty - Nothing more awesome than voting for someone you don't have a scum read on!

Its just something I don't see being pro-town, that's all. Sure, it may serve YOUR agenda, but that's likely not going to sync with everyone else's as they don't know what yours is. Well, you explained what it was last page, so that's good.

@orc, I think we misunderstood each other somehow.

@Konowa, I was asking a serious question about Varsoon there. If people had decided he was conf scum I wanted to know why he wasn't lynched already. And I agree about PR not thinking for themselves. :)

I thought I had a lot more time than I do. But I'll try to stay in this game. I won't quit! I'm glad Mara is staying; I've been curious about the yoghurts / Mara relationship that seemed to etch its way into this.

Sorry guys. Just trying to make sense of so many people at once. Not sure if I can handle this, but I love AW so I'm going to stick it out.

Though its interesting to note Konowa's 'sheep' on Varsoon and indecisiveness towards Marangal and myself today. Hoping to get an easy lynch in? :[

I think I'll see if I can find out what Konowa's up to. I thought MY votes were bad. Plus, he's the only person here I'm familiar with. :/

As much as I love Advance Wars, I'm not ready for a Large (both experience and time-wise). This position could be better served by someone who can actually be helpful to town. Best of luck to everyone. I really wish I could stay.

Also, the best lynch I see here based on content is Mara / SSK / cabd. Its a gut thing, which seems to be right quite often since I started.

Much to my chagrin, replace me.

I'm sorry I didn't do better; I genuinely struggled to 1) catch up and 2) make sense of so many players. If only I had started with everyone else! I LOVE AW and was determined to be in this game some way, some how! Either way, thanks for having me and good game, everyone. Had my scum partners been a little more... supportive, I'd probably have tried to stick it through. Albert deserves some recognition, though.
