One thing about Rune that BBT should know though is that he might be the best mafia player I know (sorry Nikanor - I did say might though, it's close!). WITH THAT BEING SAID, I have a slight town read on Rune at the moment, nothing I plan to hold on to.

If I tell you my reads and reasons at the same time, you aren't required to think about them. If I post my reads and reasons separately, you have to process them differently. Of course, you can take the anti-town approach and just be like

. OR, you can take the other traditional approach of

"This guy doesn't post the way I want him to, he must be scum!"

TheDudeAbides - First few pages, he's really certain that Rune is town, he thinks that the reverend could be scum, I could be scum, thinks Dan could be scum.. Calls out a potential scum pair on post 99, his third post without backing it up, never swings a vote to most people who he says "maybe scum", sees no reason to apply pressure to anyone but PB?

What do you think of my arguments against Dan/Palkia?
- I don't think they're any good. I think a lot of it surrounds the L-1 of PB which has more chance of coming from a town than a scum. Scum would like to ideally take spots 2-4 on the wagon, they're safer.

Why do you townread arceus without reading his posts? They are pretty awful.

I went back and forth on RC so much in my head.
At first I thought the immediate vote onto Dan was rash and baseless given how many people hate meta. I assumed Dan was just one of those people. Then RC started to really dig into Dan about his specific use of "credible". I can't really fault Dan for using that word. I think it was the appropriate English word to use. I did find RC zeroing-in on that word was town thinking.

I then thought both of them came away looking town given that exchange. Reading 209 and 210 makes me think that RC is a rash player and quick to be offended, so the reaction to "credible" seems to be a less "in the moment" and more a general play style of RC.

I think RC should realize that the players of MS fall into two categories when it comes to meta. One group supports its use and thinks that meta can lead to useful reads. The other group dislikes its use and thinks that meta is not an accurate way to read individuals.

That said, RC's more recent posts look fairly town.
Rune looks pretty town too.

Having a hard time parsing the motivation for all of them.

I had a strong town read on NotAnAxeHole at the beginning of the game, but he is steadily slipping lower and lower on my Town -> Scum ladder.

He replaced into a slot that was very scummy. Maybe he's decided that he's got no chance of survival and is just going to troll the shit out of the game. I have no idea. Can you point out some posts from Palkia you dislike and why you dislike them?

PB was a terrible lynch. See my post 508, and see the massive wagon that insta-formed on him at the end. PB's play was scummy, but RC would be playing horribly if town and protecting PB like this, and the case on Havoc was better anyways. Havoc's lynch was approached in a pro-town manner, with multiple posts of intent, and waiting for a claim. PB's was 3 or 4 votes all of which happened really quickly, and none of which showed any patience. If any of those players are town, they deserve to be lynched anyways and I don't feel bad about it.

I completely disagree, PB's play wasn't scummy. I think a majority probably expected him to flip town. (given the scum votes on him)

He wasn't, I even said as much. He pretty much had the same thoughts I had on a couple if players and I even said so in one of my posts.

You were calling Dan town yourself on multiple occasions so why do you now question his townyness?

So, let me get this straight

Slot A is occupied by Dan, Dan is town...
Slot A is vacated
Slot A is occupied by Palkia, Palkia is scum??

Is slot A scum or is slot A town? You're simultaneously saying this slot is town and scum. On top of that, you're voting for that slot.

I also want to point out - Rune claims that PB was playing scummy on Day 1. While I thought PB looked town, I am now seeing I may have been the only one seeing this - If that is the case, it's likely that the scum were not on the PB wagon, that was probably a town driven wagon (given everyone except me agrees he looked scummy).

In all honesty though,

I think your lack of following the game is genuine, but if you just took the time instead of frantically posting today, you could have read through the whole 68 pages of the game and known why a lot of what people are saying is accurate.
