Rules

General

1. The site-wide rules are, as always, in effect. Please look over them if you are unfamiliar.
   
2. I am the Mod and what I say goes. I reserve the right to change the rules or modkill/force-replace players as I see fit.

6. This is a game. Play to win, and don't ruin it for others.

Posting and Voting

1. I hereby reserve the colour
   #D40000
   for mod use. Don't use it.
   
2. Do not use invisible, encrypted, or ridiculously small text. Everything posted in the game thread should be public.
   
3. All votes must be written in
   bold
   or use the VOTE: Player tag. Unvotes are helpful, but not necessary.
   
4. Votes may not be contained inside quote, code, area, or spoiler tags.
   
5. A lynch is reached when a majority of all players (half rounded down plus one) are voting for the same target.
   
6. If a majority is not reached by the deadline, a No Lynch will occur.

Activity and Deadlines

1. Failure to post within 48 hours without advance notice will result in a prod.
   
2. You have 24 hours to respond to a prod, lest you be replaced. Regardless, three prods will result in a force-replacement.
   
3. If your role gives you access to a Private Topic, you may request that a partner be poked. This will not count as an official prod.
   
4. Please give notice of extended leave in-thread or via PM.
   
5. Each Day Phase will last two weeks (14 days) and Night Phase will last 48 hours. Extensions may be given in case of replacements.
   
6. A missed Night Action will result in a No Action.

Design Process

1. Received three picks and a number from each player.
   
2. Selected one pick for each player and took the average of all the submitted numbers.
   
3. Randomized playerlist to determine Mafia team.
   
4. Built roles.
   
5. Any third party roles in this game would be based on
   role
   , not flavour (ie, if the I felt the role I had designed for one character would be better suited as third part).

I usually just release the Dead PT for modnotes but I didn't have a Dead PT so here are some notes!

First of all, this being an average of 8 on the Bastardness scale (and with an exceptional number of 10s), my focus was more on filling this game with interesting/experimental roles than balancing it. That being said, sorry for giving the Town four Anti-Town players to deal with (although Varsoon could have win with the Town had he accumulated one more White Russian). All in all, I know this wasn't balanced, but I am glad you all seem to have enjoyed it regardless.

Second of all, thank you for a fast-paced, prod-free(?), replacement-free game.

Any comments/criticisms are welcome! Just keep in mind that I know how unbalanced it was. I'm looking more for criticism of particular roles/mechanics.

I think a lot of the confusion is the fact that I added the secondary wjn condition afterwards, during the review process, and it was the only modification that was made during review. I feel like if I had originally designed it that way, 1) the role name would have said Survivor and 2) he would have won like a proper Survivor.

Basically I didn't even realize he was a Survivor (best mod NA) so I wrote the wincon wrong.
