I was going to say bummer town, but my role, vote restriction and posting restriction are so hilarious and other than the posting restriction just fit me too perfectly and are too hilarious to actually be bummed about it.

Hey nacho, if you're scum, I dare you to make this the game of discrediting bucket!

Oh I guess one thing I should make clear up front and while I have the words available; I'm a treestump until day 5.

Yes.

I obviously have a post restriction on the amount of words I can use and posts I can make. I anticipated a question and answered it during the confirmation stage when there was nothing else I had to respond to.

As a PSA: I will not be answering questions I think can be answered if you take some time to think from here on out. This is not to be rude, but I won't take part in this kind of conversation again, because I have to prioritize.

Boy, counting words is supr fun!

3/97

But you don't need to count the word count if you just pre-type your post in a word document.

(Not to mention that it's still a pre-game phase so I believe post restriction won't apply until the game officially starts.)

You see, this game operates on DIY policy. Once you get the role PM, you find the thread! It also only requires like 3 clicks to do so.

Anyway, forget about all these claim jumbles.
Tammy, why do you find The Burgers of Llamarble's post 26 scummy?

I've decided where to vote!

I'm gonna vote Dinare because his post 34 sounds like throwing a random question to look like town doing something productive when it's not. What he asked would've been easy to figure out with a simple bit of reading.

VOTE: Dinare

Dinare wrote:So, you guys are content with the possibility of massclaim for no other reason than "my role necessitates." I don't know about you, but I'm going to need more reason than that before I accept anyone claiming anything.

That's not what your questions implied earlier. Also, if you read what marquis said and yet chose to pursue it, that means you meant to indirectly rolefish.

VOTE: Dinare

This post makes me think you were trying really hard to find somewhere to put a vote down, and finally managed to come up with something that sounded sort of convincing.

What's the point of making a post with a vote if it doesn't sound convincing?
Serious votes are more effective the earlier it is placed and I want my vote counts.

In post 75, Soul2277 wrote:And one more question, Dinare. Is there nothing interesting to comment on besides the questions aimed at you? Why did your last post only respond to what was said about you?

~Mehdi

Not just this post alone but in general I want to note that a lot of questions being thrown right now can be seen as coaching. Questions like "Is there anything more you want to comment?" gives scum a leeway to look productive.

Need to head out to work now so I'll comment on the rest later.

In post 150, Tammy wrote:Layla - I don't get any of your points about dinare. I thought the first question was fine and his continued focus on me is weird, and the accusation of indirect role fishing makes no sense whatsoever. Why do you think marquis is above being questioned and why aren't you interested in his weird demands.

Mac - it's obviously a mod error. I've messaged them about it.

Marquis stated that he wants mass claim due to role related reason. Dinare asks why marquis wanted a massclaim. He couldn't have missed that part when it was literally few posts before his post, thus the conclusion that he asked it just to look town.

He refuted with "I read his post but I wanted to know exactly why". Well, he read the part that marquis said he wanted a massclaim due to role related reason. If he chose to pursue it with knowing it then I can't see it as anything but an attempt to rolefish.

I'm not interested with marquis's demands because obviously the massclaim isn't gonna happen and I don't need to waste my time arguing how massclaiming early is bad when several people are already doing it and I could be doing something better than doing that. Of course, I have my own guess about what marquis could be doing but if I'm right it would be pointless to share it.

Oh also, I don't mind complexity claiming. I've never heard of my role before but it's simple enough. 2.

@Tammy: actually when I was working on a post this morning thst was lost due to faulty copying quotes, I explained both of those. I kinda felt disheartened after losing a post so when I worked on it the second time i thought it was easy to see anyway and skipped. Soul's case they're asking about the post restriction that was already announced so it doesn't count. Marquis' case as cephrir said it's too blatant and direct.

Cool.
I betcha you didn't know that we had info that the third party is a serial killer when you decided to "townside"!

So yes,
dram is a serial killer

Think hard about who you lynch today.
lyching me will cause two potential town death.
lynching dram will only cause one town death.

In post 1, Angry Frat BROs wrote:
Rule Set!

Breaking any of these rules (or purposely attempting to exploit loopholes) may result in _any_ action we deem necessary.

GENERAL GAME FLOW

1. Post and vote in the thread; use vote tags VOTE: AngryPidgeon or bold tags
Vote: AngryPidgeon
to cast a vote for another player.
2. A player will be irrevocably lynched the instant they have more than half of the votes on them.
3. Game days will be 2 weeks long and game nights will be 2 days long; posting is not allowed at night.
4. If a day ends with no majority of votes on one person, no one will be lynched that Day.

DO

1. Obey all site rules
2. Play to win.
3. Post at least every 60 hours; failing to do so will earn a prod at which point you have 24 hours to post or be replaced. (3 prods will be a replacement)
4. Ask me questions in thread or by PM if you are unclear on the rules.
Bold
questions to me for visibility.
5. Alert me in thread or by PM if you are going on V/LA; doing so will exempt you from prods
6. Be respectful to other players. If personal attacks become an ongoing problem, I will force replace or modkill you.

DO NOT

1. Post after you have been killed/lynched for any reason (unless your role specifically allows otherwise).
2. Attempt to impersonate the moderator (us); please avoid using
bolded purple (8040FF) text
as a result.
3. Encrypt text or otherwise intentionally make content in your post difficult to read or find.
4. Discuss or reference this game outside of the game thread (exceptions may be specified in your role).
5. Directly quote my private communications with you (especially role cards).
6. Pretend to break any rule listed here.

NOTES FOR THIS GAME SPECIFICALLY

1. This game is not bastard (we think?); your alignment will not change.
2. Anti-town factions will be given relevant fake role names.
3. This game is 1:3:9. The three mods (BROSeidon, BBMolla, and AngryPidgeon) each designed 1 mafia and 3 town roles without consulting each other. These roles were meshed together to form a 3:9 game. Furthermore, each mod came up with one 3rd-party role each. One player in this game will get all 3 of these roles and will pick one in pregame to use as their role.
4. Sample town wincon:
Win Condition:
Town
; You win when all threats to the town are dead and at least one person with this wincon is still alive.

I have a simple objection. I think a day time is a wee bit too long. Why not balance them out? 1 week day and 1 week night sounds like a good idea.

The Coccinellidae (/ˌkɒksɪˈnɛlɪdaɪ/)[3] are a family of small beetles, ranging from 0.8 to 18 mm (0.0315 to 0.708 inches).[4] They are commonly yellow, orange, or scarlet with small black spots on their wing covers, with black legs, heads and antennae. Such colour patterns vary greatly, however; for example, a minority of species, such as Vibidia duodecimguttata, a twelve-spotted species, have whitish spots on a brown background. Coccinellids are found worldwide, with over 5,000 species described.[5]

Coccinellidae are known colloquially as ladybirds (in Britain, Ireland, the Commonwealth, and some parts of the southern United States), ladybugs (originating in North America) or lady cows, among other names.[6] When they need to use a common name, entomologists in the United States widely prefer the names ladybird beetles or lady beetles[7] as these insects are not true bugs.

The Coccinellidae are generally considered useful insects, because many species feed on aphids or scale insects, which are pests in gardens, agricultural fields, orchards, and similar places. Within the colonies of such plant-eating pests, they will lay hundreds of eggs, and when these hatch, the larvae will commence feeding immediately.[8] However, some species do have unwelcome effects; among these, the most prominent are the subfamily Epilachninae, which are plant eaters. Usually, Epilachninae are only mild agricultural pests, eating the leaves of grain, potatoes, beans, and various other crops, but their numbers can increase explosively in years when their natural enemies, such as parasitoid wasps that attack their eggs, are few. In such situations, they can do major crop damage. They occur in practically all the major crop-producing regions of temperate and tropical countries.

So today I was at work and it was raining and thundering so hard. The lightning hit the transformer twice and twice the power went out. One of the girl who worked there started crying because she got scared. Boy, what a day.

The ocean sunfish or common mola, Mola mola, is the heaviest known bony fish in the world. It has an average adult weight of 1,000 kg (2,200 lb). The species is native to tropical and temperate waters around the globe. It resembles a fish head with a tail, and its main body is flattened laterally. Sunfish can be as tall as they are long when their dorsal and ventral fins are extended.

Sunfish live on a diet consisting mainly of jellyfish, but because this diet is nutritionally poor, they consume large amounts to develop and maintain their great bulk. Females of the species can produce more eggs than any other known vertebrate,[1] up to 300,000,000 at a time.[2] Sunfish fry resemble miniature pufferfish, with large pectoral fins, a tail fin, and body spines uncharacteristic of adult sunfish.

Adult sunfish are vulnerable to few natural predators, but sea lions, killer whales, and sharks will consume them. Among humans, sunfish are considered a delicacy in some parts of the world, including Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. In the EU, regulations ban the sale of fish and fishery products derived from the Molidae family.[3] Sunfish are frequently caught in gillnets.

A member of the order Tetraodontiformes, which also includes pufferfish, porcupinefish, and filefish, the sunfish shares many traits common to members of this order. The ocean sunfish, Mola mola, is the type species of the genus.

Then I'll make this game a little bit harder.

If dram is not lynched today, then we will make sure dram is safe and not hindered by a redirect/possible protect.

Dram only needs one night to ensure a unstoppable victory since everyone claimed.

I mean, at this point I have 0% chance of winning. The outcome of the game is already decided on one of this two:
1) dram is actually telling the truth and dram+Town joint win.
2) dram is a werewolf and dram wins alone.

There's no stopping a werewolf once he gets a first successful consumption because he's gonna be a deathproof upon successful nightkill. In epicmafia, werewolf kill is considered as a strongman kill, so no redirect or protect will stop his kill and the only thing that can stop his kill is a roleblock. Dram's fear of roleblock out of everything else that could stop a survivor (kill, strongarm, etc) fits this perfectly.

P-Edit: no matter how broken the info is, that alone doesn't help survivor (as you can see, town can decide to just lynch you after sucking all the info from you). And as you said, yes adding a protective ability will make your survivor role broken, which exactly why I don't buy your claim in the first place.

In post 549, Cephrir wrote:Stone tools indicate that early humans were present in France at least 1.8 million years ago.[1] The first modern humans appeared in the area 40,000 years ago. The first written records for the history of France appear in the Iron Age. What is now France made up the bulk of the region known to the Romans as Gaul. Roman writers noted the presence of three main ethno-linguistic groups in the area: the Gauls, the Aquitani, and the Belgae. The Gauls, the largest and best attested group, were Celtic people speaking what is known as the Gaulish language.

Over the course of the 1st millennium BC the Greeks, Romans, and Carthaginians established colonies on the Mediterranean coast and the offshore islands. The Roman Republic annexed southern Gaul as the province of Gallia Narbonensis in the late 2nd century BC, and Roman forces under Julius Caesar conquered the rest of Gaul in the Gallic Wars of 58–51 BC. Afterwards a Gallo-Roman culture emerged and Gaul was increasingly integrated into the Roman Empire.

In the later stages of the Roman Empire, Gaul was subject to barbarian raids and migration, most importantly by the Germanic Franks. The Frankish king Clovis I united most of Gaul under his rule in the late 5th century, setting the stage for Frankish dominance in the region for hundreds of years. Frankish power reached its fullest extent under Charlemagne. The medieval Kingdom of France emerged from the western part of Charlemagne's Carolingian Empire, known as West Francia, and achieved increasing prominence under the rule of the House of Capet, founded by Hugh Capet in 987.

A succession crisis following the death of the last direct Capetian monarch in 1328 led to the series of conflicts known as the Hundred Years' War between the House of Valois and the House of Plantagenet. The war formally began in 1337 following Philip VI's attempt to seize the Duchy of Aquitaine from its hereditary holder, Edward III of England, the Plantagenet claimant to the French throne. Despite early Plantagenet victories, including the capture and ransom of John II of France, fortunes turned in favor of the Valois later in the war. Among the notable figures of the war was Joan of Arc, a French peasant girl who led French forces against the English, establishing herself as a national heroine. The war ended with a Valois victory in 1453.

Victory in the Hundred Years' War had the effect of strengthening French nationalism and vastly increasing the power and reach of the French monarchy. During the period known as the Ancien Régime, France transformed into a centralized absolute monarchy. During the next centuries, France experienced the Renaissance and the Protestant Reformation. At the height of the French Wars of Religion, France became embroiled in another succession crisis, as the last Valois king, Henry III, fought against rival factions the House of Bourbon and the House of Guise. Henry, King of Navarre, scion of the Bourbon family, would be victorious in the conflict and establish the French Bourbon dynasty. A burgeoning worldwide colonial empire was established in the 16th century. French political power reached a zenith under the rule of Louis XIV, "The Sun King", builder of Versailles Palace.

In the late 18th century the monarchy and associated institutions were overthrown in the French Revolution. The country was governed for a period as a Republic, until the French Empire was declared by Napoleon Bonaparte. Following Napoleon's defeat in the Napoleonic Wars France went through several further regime changes, being ruled as a monarchy, then briefly as a Second Republic, and then as a Second Empire, until a more lasting French Third Republic was established in 1870.

France was one of the Triple Entente powers in World War I, fighting alongside the United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Japan, the United States and smaller allies against Germany and the Central Powers.

France was one of the Allied Powers in World War II, but was conquered by Nazi Germany in 1940. The Third Republic was dismantled, and most of the country was controlled directly by Germany while the south was controlled until 1942 by the collaborationist Vichy government. Living conditions were harsh as Germany drained away food and manpower, and many Jews were killed. Charles de Gaulle led the Free France movement that one-by-one took over the colonial empire, and coordinated the wartime Resistance. Following liberation in summer 1944, a Fourth Republic was established. France slowly recovered economically, but did enjoy a Baby boom that reversed its very low fertility rate. Long wars in Indochina and Algeria drained French resources and ended in defeat. In the wake of the Algerian Crisis of 1958, Charles de Gaulle set up the French Fifth Republic. Into the 1960s decolonization saw most of the French colonial empire become independent, while smaller parts were incorporated into the French state as overseas departments and collectivities. Since World War II France has been a permanent member in the UN Security Council and NATO. It played a central role in the unification process after 1945 that led to the European Union. Despite slow economic growth in recent years and issues with Muslim minorities, it remains a strong economic, cultural, military and political factor in the 21st century.

I want to know more about the steel tools though.

Of course there's really no point for me to keep playing this game but at least I do wanna see one night actions being resolved. I'm pretty sure mods are thrilled to do it at least once.
