Honestly I don't like this one or the previous two. I feel like events in a single game can't really define someone in a way that merits a title. I think they'd be better as memorable moment scummie noms.

But if there's support in the community, I don't really want to crash their fun.

but yeah, what sthar said. especially considering it's only been mentioned by people from that newbie game outside of that thread (which only ended ~a month ago?)

nominate it for kayak moment or something, otherwise, at least force the meme for longer before nominating it for a title.

Ugh. I hate that chestnut. Most titles are just remembering something funny that happened one time, not "this defines them as a person".

Like, think about this. In three years, MS is gonna be in a game and someone is gonna ask him how he got his title. He'll explain that he quoted Sun Tzu one time in a scumthread. So for those future new players, thing one they know about him will be that he's the guy who quoted Sun Tzu that one time. Regardless of how his play has grown or changed.

I'm not really arguing against them. If the recipients are OK with that kind of title, that's their business. I just wouldn't want to be explaining "I misspoke in a newbie game once and the other players found that hilarious" forever.

2: it's based off one game. Isn't Persivul's? Isn't Metal Sonic's?

Besides. People not even IN the game are posting that meme places, and we've had noms outside of that game too, so you can't say it's jsut a newbie game thing.
