My love for C9 has nothing to do with them being a winningest team, I just find them to be on average the team I have the most fun watching (if they win or if they lose).

^ my I don't wanna say 'ideal,' but semi realistic bracket for the TL contest.

Sucks that EG and Secret are on the same side of the bracket, and if they play that series should be super good.

Super happy with NA's performance so far.

I think EG loses to Secret first, then beats them in the Grand Finals.

It's also plausible that EG loses to LGD.

I also think you're overestimating IG. They could lose to Hot6, they look terrible. Also I kind of want VP to win over Fnatic, but that one's a toss up.

I also don't see Phoenix beating Empire.

oh hell ya they could lose to LGD/Secret EASILY. Like... those games will be GREAT(hopefully.)

I think IG could just 'flip a switch' and roll through a few rounds. Theoretically the hardest round to select is the BO1 losers bracket first round. Just cause one team might win like 80% of the time, doesnt matter, it's a BO1. Honestly I'd love for Hot6 to beat IG.

I really just 'like' Fnatic, and that one is a toss up. Whoever wins that *should* have a good matchup next round and I'd like to think would advance.

I can see Empire over thinking things with they day they have off before they play Phoenix/Newbee, and losing that series.

Alot of what went on was basically taking small risks to put myself in a better position to do better in the contest in general.

Stuff like Fnatic doing decently is a medium risk/high reward thing. Same with Phoenix/IG. I just expect a little bit of chaos.

Bump for first half of tourney:

Secret swept in winner's bracket first game - somehow - then comes a game away from going home, but comes back. Against Virtus.pro later today.
Na'Vi loses their first game and is out in last, as is NewBee. IG's second-round elimination spells the end of the final past champion.
MVP Phoenix somehow doing well, looking to bring a good finish to Korea (which people expect to make a hit in LoL's popularity there). They play VG later today.
Complexity eliminated, but NA still has hopes in the form of the Evil Geniuses. Their UB Final is tomorrow against CDEC.
