I am beginning to like CDB, he is along the lines of my thinking. If LQ dies today, mafia have to take two BLIND shots. Tomorrow they have more of a chance to read who is PRs or going to be vital for town to be in game. Then again if LQ flips mafia like I am beginning to think he will, we will be one step closer to saying bye bye mafia.

CDB, you are trying to push this too hard. Its not like we only have 3 days to figure him or the game out. Killing him now is more detrimental to the town PRs than killing him day 2 or 3.

The theory that weak town should claim early was not refuted so that is why I felt I should get it out of the way. Here's another thing about the town PRs which LQ did not think of if he is scum fake claiming BP.

Here's a question. WHO PLANS TO OUT THEIR N1 RESULTS TOMORROW? If not, then you should be happy with 2 nights before maybe outing the information you could gather.

It'd be more serious if you had 3 cop reads and then LQ died before you outed, found a scum for the 4th read but died by your 5th one because scum found you before you outed.

This way we have max usage of PRs out of this scenario without that risk. So unless you plan to out your role and action tomorrow, then you should not even consider letting him live another day.

The thing that's wrong with your argument is that the info goes both ways for both Scum AND Town. What is mafia at its basics? I'll tell you this is true in almost ALL cases: Mafia is a game with an uninformed majority vs an informed minority.

2 people die in the first example, and 3 in the second example is because we lynched town, not because of an extra night kill. We could easily mislynch if we targetted someone other than LQ. He is my biggest scum suspect.

For LicketyQuickety: The reason I want you dead is nothing personal. I don't believe your claim, and in most cases if someone is lying they are scum.

I also think if you are not lying lynching you now is not the worse case scenario. The longer you live as town, the more powerful your kill will be, as the later in the game it is, the more likely they'll hit important Power roles (fewer choices). As sinsun pointed it, later also means its more likely that town will have diminished benefits as well from a double night, and scum will have much better information to use for targetting their kills.

Don't underestimate Town is all I'm saying.

If you actually are BP, and you're alive at the night before LYLO, then scum get an auto win. (provided no doc available to save you)
Scum won't NK you before then, so we'll have to lynch you sooner or later. The only way you survive this is if we magically lynch all the scum first.
I've had two games end that way recently, so it isn't completely out of the question, but I don't think we should bet the game on being able to do it.

OK, so here is the way I want this to work...

You guys ask me about stuff and I will answer as best I can.

I am not a magician, but I know that I post a lot, and that I post a lot of actual content. The answers are found in my posts. You can find who is town and who is Scum by doing and ISO of me and looking for either Town Motivation or Why what would benefit Scum.

There is a reason I am always killed early and that is because I figure stuff out fast and I have good reads.

LG mentioned that they actually look Null/Scum after I read them Null/Town. This statement by them is ONLY to clarify if my reads are good or not. I said my reads were on the right track in so many words and I am going to stick by that. The reason I gave so many Nulls is because I want people to trust my reasds and I don't want to be so far in left field with them that is is not even close. I am usually Dead Wrong with a few people that are really good at disguising their play, but besides that I think my read will only get better with more experience.

P-Edit: I'll give it my best shot PerV, but I think it would be faster if people ask me questions. Plus, I'll likely be pushing a deadline and I don't want to do that since it doesn't give people enough time to absorb what I am saying.

In all fairness, D1 reads are usually terrible anyway. Rarely you can peg someone in a smaller game but in larges it seems to usually be luck at best.

This is going to sound crazy, but I pride myself on having decent reads day 1. I strive for having good scum reads as early as within the first day. If I have the attitude that "oh, its only the first day, reads shouldn't be good" then that is a huge demotivator for me. Basically my thinking is aim for perfection, accept nothing but excellence. IDK, Maybe I'm crazy, but I want to be the guy that has crazy good reads really early on. *shrug*

We all do. This might sound arrogant or whatever but I think I have an edge because I don't read people based on logic. based on logic, yeah, reads are going to suck day 1, but if you read between the lines a bit and and just try to get deeper than what is actually said and try to delve into the character of the posts and not just the dichotomy, I believe it is possible to read scum not just by what they say, but how they present information -the feel of the post so to speak.
