Welcome to WiFom City: Don't Trust Titus. Titus, the mayor of WiFom City, has forgotten her allegiances and alignments. She's totally forgotten everything. She has only one note, "Don't Trust the Cops". She tried to keep her amnesia a secret, and just have government run at a standstill.

Unfortunately, the evil, brainwashing police killed the internal affairs investigator. Titus did leave a guide in case this happened. It says, get the townsfolk together. Force them to play mafia, to the death.

There are some basic notes that Titus left to herself in case of psychos wiping her memory, so she could host a mafia game to try and get it back.

Yes, only Titus would host a mafia game to remember what she forgot.

Win Conditions do not change. No Cults, Jesters or Lynchers.
Do read the Don't Trust the Cops Wiki. Anything that can be remotely "bastard" is explained in there.

The Rules

Day start.
No Out of Game Communication.
PT and QT content cannot be quoted. Paraphrase is acceptable.
Any PM from the Mod Cannot Be Quoted. Period. Violations of this Rule will be harshly dealt with.
Anything ambiguous will be handled by whatever the mod(s) thinks you mean.
Any random actions will be resolved by the mod using dice tags in the mods PT. The first player in the random order list will be 1 on the dice.
Any action that is not submitted will be a no action. A compulsive action that is not submitted will be performed at random, without regards to their alignment.
Play nice with others, but not too nice. This is mafia. If it attacks the person or berates them, that's not allowed. If it says the player is sucking, that's fine.
Site Rules Apply.
The game cannot be broken by flavor, as all role PMs are flavorless.
Votes must be bolded. Vote Tags or Color are strongly preferred. If I miss it, it doesn't count until I see it.
Unvotes are not required, but extremely helpful.
Days last the number of players alive plus 1. Yet, they last a minimum of 5 days. Example, Day 1 is 22 days long. If only 3 players are alive, the day lasts 5 days.
Nights are 72 hours long but can be shortened if EVERY player agrees, even the ones without night actions.
Scum can kill and use their night ability.
Scum may or may not have daychat, depending on whether or not an encryptor is in the game.
The universe of roles is outlined in the Setup Wiki. If you are uncertain about something, ask.
Deadlines may be extended to accommodate holidays, work events or replacements. This is sole discretion of the mod. No player has a role that can extend or shorten deadlines.
Prods go out if you have not posted for 48 game hours.
Watch your PMs at the start and end of the day.
All night actions may be sent to the mod early (even during the day).
If you are going to be VLA more than a week, strongly consider subbing out.
All setup questions should be asked by PM.
Questions posted in the thread will be ignored.
If Multiple People ask the same question, I may post the answer in thread at my discretion. It will be rephrased so no one can tell who asked it.

Answer: Yes, roleblockers come before commuters in the order of operations.

5. What is the difference between an escort and a hooker?
Answer: Nothing, setup wise. Escorts and Consorts are the flavor method of roleblocking. They are given different names to highlight that the mod uses an order of operations which resolves some roles differently than expected. See 4.

Titus gathers the crowd, including the people who she swears have multiple heads. She must be insane. However, her notes tell her to be nice to the people about to engage in a bloodbath on her behalf.

I don't know why there's so much rope in public. Did I have a rope fetish? Is there blood on the rope? Am I twisted?

Role PMs are out.

To clarify a few things. There are no in game alignment shifts. No cults, jesters, lynchers, or any other role not in the wiki. No lies in moderator role PMs. The only "lies" that will be told by me are directly influenced by player behavior as outlined in the wiki. The Subject line of all non-group scum role PMs was "WiFom City: Don't Trust Titus - Role PM"

One more note, T-Bone is great. Y'all should join his game. He's the co-mod and reviewed the final roll for balance (although it is wacky).

Drixx and ZZZX will also be hydraing, when they give me the name of their hydra. Until they do, votes cast for either head or something that looks like intent to vote the hydra will be sufficient. Take the talk about what game mods and list mods should do privately. The next person who discusses these behaviors without being baited is getting force replaced. I'm looking into these issues but this is not the place for said discussion.

I'm still looking into the toxic comments thing, but this thread will not devolve into discussion of my actions as a moderation, actions of the list mods, or anything else. If this is somehow unclear, you PM me. Do not post in thread about moderator decisions.

Muffin, that (918) is 100% over the line. Elusive has had issues but that is also clearly attacking Elusive and not cool either. Apologize to Elusive for that comment. If you do anything like that, I will force replace you as well but I would rather just continue the game.

Klingoncelt approaches the gallows. The crowd cheers as the noose is tightened around her neck. "We want this day to be over!" They cried. Klingoncelt stammers defending her innocence, as her feet drag across the ground. Quoth the Pidgeon hammers the rope in place that will gradually strangle the life out of Klingoncelt. Titus approaches the kickstand, but there's a note on the kickstand.

Read your notes before strangling anyone.

Titus shouts to the crowd. "Well there's apparently one more ritual to go through before we can go to night. Something about a judge possibly being here and they have a right to turn the lynch into a no lynch or a no lynch into a lynch. I don't get it but I'm supposed to wait for a text message from the judge making sure all that's good and legal about the lynch."

Titus eyes the crowd, roaring into a frenzy. She's pretty sure she sees some eyeballs rolling around. Then again, given the sudden body swapping going on, Titus is pretty sure she's in the insane asylum anyway and none of this is real. Her delusions sure are fun though.

Given the comments about making sure that the procedures are followed, Klingon tries to make a break for it. Titus stops her. "No. You kinda have to stay. It's in my notecards. Only the judge can let you go." Her eyes turn to the audience and says...

The judge, if they exist, has 48 hours, to overturn or approve the lynch by pm. If I get no action, or there is no judge, the lynch will go through. Twilight ends if I get a message with a choice. Day actions are locked at that point.

P.S. Flavor is cute, not meant to be role or alignment indicative. Don't scumhunt the flavor.

The light fades from Klingoncelt's eyes. "How could you do this to me? I didn't do anything. Where's the case? Do you even care who I am, what I can do?"

Her pleas are ignored by the ravenous crowd gathered at her feet. "Lynch her! She's scum! She has to be mafia. We can't have them running free." "We just want the day over with." The pitchforks point forward at the stage. The fire from the torches was passionate. "We decided on you, we are lynching you. The judge has approved it. Just die already."

I wanted this... I wanted to actually see people fight bicker and murder. What kind of mayor am I? How do people keep coming back after we murder them?

Titus flips the switch, strangling Klingoncelt. As her limp lifelessbody falls down onto the floor, she lets go of a key.

The town finds the lock for the key, thinking it will lead to the inevitable discovery of Klingoncelt's evil nature of assisting the corrupt cops. When the group arrives, the group finds a series of cameras set around town. They lack power but otherwise function. The group powers the cameras on and realizes exactly who Klingoncelt was. She wasn't a corrupt cop but rather the Big Brother tasked with watching over the town.

I regret to state that due to my own mod error, Drizzx must be modkilled. They will still win with town, but it's blantantly unfair to the scumteam to continue in such circumstances. Again, he did nothing wrong. I meant to PM him and posted in the thread instead.

The crowd gathers yelling at Titus to tighten the noose on Honeybee's neck. Titus checks her messages. "This feels like there's a violation. You cannot strangle Honeybee. The procedures were not followed. Do not reply back. I will not tell you the procedures." Instead of tightening the noose, she undoes the ties.

"The judge has spared you," Titus says to Honeybee, "Good luck."

The judge has overturned the lynch. It is now Night 2.

The night will last at least 72 hours. Any replacement for Little Gumball will have 24 hours to catch up. I will send a pm at the Start of Day 3.

You can make a lynch into a no lynch, or a no lynch into a lynch onto any living player in the game but yourself. You cannot do this to your own lynch.

Key language here is a lynch. A judge cannot overturn the same lynch twice. That would make the judge into a king.

Next game, I will explicitly make judge one shot.

I sympathize. That's why I went to get some help with that decision. Drizzx still won. I think Constantine mod confirming you as town still really helped town though. It made Singer look really bad and she was the face.

I hate modkilling for rules I am not explicit about. Also, no one wotced Hermit prior to the game. As a mod, players cannot add Wotc mid game because there is the issue of wotc based on shitty play overall or just my team. Plus I would look like I was playing favorites.

There wasn't really a fair punishment I could do as a mod. Hellblocking the scumteam would have helped them. Plus it gives town information that Constantine could never claim VT.

I didn't make that decision alone and it felt like the least horrible choice.
