Yahoo gave me an A- draft grade while I'm pretty sure I had the worst autodraft imaginable.

Yahoo grades based on their rankings(which I presume you didnt change) so any autodraft will always be graded highly.

If im not drafting Gronk im picking either Eifert/Delanie/Reed in that order, at however late I can get them.

For whatever reason someone thought it would be a hilarious idea to pick Eifert as a

backup

TE right before me. I'm completely fine with them creating a potential TE headache for them self as long as I can get one of my guys. Reed is just a health concern. That's it. If he's healthy I think he's easily a top 10 TE, and hes talented enough to be a top 5 TE. I can easily envision tons of situations where Cousins utilizes his talented TE.

If Reed gets hurt.... I can pick another TE. TE production is mostly a crap shoot, and again... if you don't get Gronk idk why I'd use up early picks to get a TE.



As for my RB2, I have three guys I expect to 'ride the hot hand/play the matchup' with, as I feel Ivory/Martin are mostly interchangeable and were similarly ranked by me, and Crowell is the guy for Cleveland right now, so I really have four RBs that are confidently starting for their teams right now. I find it hard to believe Jeremy Hill will stop being a big imposing beast, so I'm banking that all three of the other guys I have at RB won't crash and burn. I also feel that Ivory/Martin have looked particularly good this preseason with the former shockingly being more involved in the passing game than he has been in previous years.

I was kind of shoehorned into drafting WRs that I felt really good about after taking Rodgers round 2. I was super pissed Megatron was picked right before by a guy who took a WR rd 1 also, but that's fine, if the choices are Aaron Rodgers or Megatron I really feel like it's a success, it just leaves me needing WRs more. I knew I could get Ivory/Martin/insert RB that became Crowell here later.


Brandin Cooks is Brees' guy, like he's the MAN MAN. He's quick, runs good routes, and has great hands. He has big play potential, and will also likely get some carries as an added benefit. I had him as my 8 or 9th WR, and got him as the 12th WR selected.

Maclin looks to be flourishing with Alex Smith, who looks a lot more aggressive this preseason. If Maclin stays healthy, which is a realistic concern I think he's a borderline WR1. Essentially I'm taking a minor risk for big potential. His ADP is far too low, and I feel like if I waited for him, it was very likely he wouldn't have made it to me round 5.

Which leads me to Sammy Watkins. This guy had injury stuff last year and still almost had 1000 yards receiving. He fills out as an easy WR3, who is almost certainly a real WR2, and the only thing keeping him from being a WR1 is his QB. So WR2 playing as my WR3, super happy with it.

I have 3 of my top 20 WRs starting for me, and for my bench I feel REALLY good about them.

Stevie Johnson is replacing Eddie Royal in SD, but Stevie Johnson is... better than Eddie Royal. In the 3rd preseason game which is the most important one, he led the team in targets, and converted most of them as well.

Markus Wheaton. This guy was always starting in front of Martavius Bryant

before

his suspension, and now all he realistically has to do is play well when he is suspended and theres no reason to think he wont... and he should be the 2nd WR for the Steelers. I guess coaches can do stupid things, and it's possible he gets demoted when Bryant comes back even if hes doing well, or maybe he'll just not play as well as he can. If you ask me if I want Ben Roethlisberger's #2 in the 10th round, more than likely I'll say HELL YEAH.


And finally.... Ty Montgomery. For whatever reason shitty James Jones is the 3rd WR in front of this guy. It's sad because James Jones is terrible. I'm basically waiting for the Packers to realize Montgomery is a young talented guy that should be their 3rd WR, and when/if they do, I'll be happy/cut him. This is just a low risk high reward pick. I feel like its more worth doing it so late in the draft. The worst thing to happen is that I cut the guy, and who cares.

Pretty much I feel my only question marks are my Maclin staying healthy(seems likely), Reed staying healthy(who has changed his workout regimen and stuff), and Ty Montgomery who could(should) be the #3 for the Packers.

I feel like I got a lot of my guys, and I feel super good.

One thing I did not keep up on however is kickers that got waived. So that was hilarious. Fortunately its a kicker.

I mean I'm pretty sure Auction MS league on ESPN didn't mess with Defense scoring when that league was made like 3-4 years ago.

Either way idk how I feel about yards being put as a defensive scoring mechanism.
