Anybody aware of any players who hate rolling scum? Just curious, since in this game, the fact that we didn't get scum even though we chose it means that more people chose scum than their were scum slots, so those who would be inclined to choose town all got their preference.

I know this is RVS, but I still didn't like this post.
first of all, it's hard to fake a massage. If you feel the pressure from the other person's hands, then it's probably real.
second of all, in no way is "not being able to know the truth behind someone's statements" alignment indicative. what that seems like to me is trying to undermine an early potential gamesolver and something that brings us out of RVS. Of course, in no way is farside town for the message deal, but in no way is scum either.

I remember someone saying that 60 is potentially town motivated because reaction gathering but I personally don't thnk it's indicative.

what inconsistency in my vote/intent? I saw there are 4 votes on 1 person asked if there is something I missed in 58

in 60 I saw a really good place for reaction test so I went forward.

I never asked people to town read me becuase of my reaction tests. that's just my main method of testing people.

about my 3rd case (which is actually the first) I was w8ing to see if anyone wants to ask anything about it or not!

his started calling people town, when asked why he dodged the question. later he just assumed another guy town. then he asked a really stupid question "are you scum?". thats all his ISO. so yeah ... that's a decent vote atm.

That's not true. We evaluate each slots towniness or scumminess on the merit of the slots actions. Without prior experience with a player, there's no reason why we would let that players read on someone influence our thoughts on that player. Prior to that game, I had no experience with you, and Drixx didn't have any alignment read on you at all, he just wanted you dead because of the disruption.

Titus' read on the slot, admittedly, was relevant. We didn't buy Titus as town during D1, so her targeting of LQ made him more likely to be town.

However, the majority of the reasoning why we thought LQ was unlikely to be scum had *nothing* to do with you.

Let me say this to you Jeanne: You. Do. Not. Matter. To. Me. Not to be a dick about it or anything, but you make too little sense to me for me to actually care what your opinion is on any slot when I'm town, other than insofar as I can use your thoughts to help me form a read on you myself, and as scum you are wildly ineffectual in terms of getting people to listen to you, and thus not worth being scared of. Any talking to you i do do is wholly in pursuit of the goal of helping you be more reasonable so games I play with you don't always have to go through this "Let's policy lynch Jeanne" phase.

What am i wrong about? I don't have *any* opinions on any slots right now? I'm not sure what read you seem to think I've expressed, other than viewing marquis' ally scrambling as town, and yours as null with the revelation that you knew the thread was locked and then unlocked.
