I would have entered something else off Panic!'s newest album, but I figured Victorious would grab the most points. I was tempted to enter Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time but figured the sample would lose me more points than it'd earn.

LA Devotee and Emperor's New Clothes were my other runner-ups.

I generally still prefer stuff from Pretty. Odd.

I think they've done some interesting exploration and some good stuff, but I don't feel as though they've put something out that I've liked as much as Pretty. Odd. other than their first album.

Hungary – Death in June: I find this to be generally dull. (C+)
Burkina Faso – Soap&Skin: Failed to hold my attention in any way (C)
Iceland – Bent Knee: Was interesting, at least (B)

Gabon – The Piano Guys: I have heard this before but it is awfully hard to not like the Piano Guys, even if this one is a bit overwrought, IMO (B+)

Fiji – Birdy: This was pretty good. (B+)
Turkey – July Talk: This was pretty good. I liked it (A-)

USA – Sunrise Skater Kids: oh-ho. Clever. Sort of. (B)
Cote d'Iovire – Killola: Fine, not special (B)
Netherlands - Panic! At The Disco: Yeah these guys still got it. (A)
Chad – Slaves: Pretty decent. (B+)
Greece – Neko Case: This is solid, I dig it (A-)

Italy – Annabel Jones: Pretty good, not spectacular though (B+)

Philippines – Hyukoh: This is okay, not spectacular. I prefer understanding the lyrics in music like this where the lyrics are so central, though. (B+)
