How on earth have I been fixed on Titus? Go back through my posts. I dare you to back up that statement. Bring up ONE TIME when I have brought up Titus without provocation. Every time I have brought her up it has been in response to someone making a disgusting claim that she's scum based on fearmongering or based on someone else's claim that one person's flip will determine another's.

No, I have not been fixed on her at all. In fact I've tried to avoid talking about her but every once in a while I get an urge to defend her from a certain fear mongering player who has talked about FIGURATIVELY NO ONE ELSE the entire game.

I've become more and more suspicious of you after rereading your predecessor and noticing your tunnelvision on Titus excuses you from taking stances elsewhere, and the fact that you're now seeming to try to set me up for a lynch after her makes me ever more suspicious. PEdit: I've found that scum tend to tunnel on this site. To the point that it's become a tell for me. Look at garmr in the last game I played or ythan in the game before that. It makes it easy to excuse not playing the game.

Yep. This is actually the easiest way to play scum, at least in my experience, since everyone sees you as having a strong stance and you're active and you don't have to participate in anything else or give reads other than "x is scum"

Mostly. He echoes people a lot, waits to make sure something is safe to say and then repeats it for someone else later and defends it pretty hard to try and make sure he's the one to get town cred for it.

1. I did not say that you were not good at reading people. I said that reading people as town != to reading people as good at reading people. I did not hint subtly or direct this statement towards anyone. It's a statement that applies to all mafia games. The fact that you took this as directed towards you is your interpretation of my post and not my intention for my post. I did not intend it at all that way, and it is incredibly frustrating to be taken and portrayed as something you are not for something you did not do.

2. I have been proven wrong in my reads twice. Everything else is still up and possibly correct, possibly incorrect. It's understandable that I would be wrong, it happens, people make mistakes. Fortunately, the anti read people is not the only determining factor when discussing the skill level of a particular individual. You, on the other hand, have a singular solid read that you have kept to all game, and that is acceptable, but not a place to criticize other people's reads from.

3. If you are town I highly suggest, nay, I plead, that you look into the game and read all the players to the best of your ability. The place you currently stands at leaves me convused as to your actual alignment since your play is not far from optimal as scum. (I might say it us optimal scum, but I am not certain what that is. I am in no place to judge in this area.) Your play up to this point has been distracting and draws attention away from other people who perhaps need a lynch, creating space for scum to hide. It makes you hard to read. These are not pro-town moves.

I don't idolize Titus. I've explained my town read on her. Your scum read reasoning amounts to: "she was wrong" my town read amounts to "her play is closer to optimal town than optimal scum," please tell me which of these is more reason based?

I do respect her as a player. I try to keep a healthy distance. I feel like the only reason she seems even plausible as a lynch is due to the fact that players seem to have an unhealthy fear of her, and so I admit to being at least slightly biased in the other direction due to my awareness of this paranoia. So perhaps this is the bias you perceive, I assure you I do not "put her on a pedestal," if I did, I would not go so far as to try to read her the way I did due to the fact that my belief that she was a better mafia player than me would cause me to always second guess my read. Instead my read on her is relatively solid (relative to the fact that in this game obvtown are few and far between) on her because I think I can see her play and reads her semi-accurately.

Wow scum played a great game. Viva that is the most frustrating thing I have ever gone through, arguing with you over Titus' alignment and the "apology" bit made me pace my house for hours. I was so tempted to try to lynch her just to get you to back off and rub it in your face.

I've been thinking about this since it feels like someone gets deathtunneled every game and it often results in town deaths. So I've been thinking that maybe we should have lynched Titus on d2 just to make viva shut up and then idk. Thoughts on this?
