It wouldn't be possible if Serbia were fortifying you instead.

what are your plans after you take the mao? I don't think it makes sense to split your forces and fight a war on two fronts. I think it makes more sense for Portugal and Spain to work together and for Portugal to hold the mao, and for Tunis to head east.

But what is your long term Goal here DN? taking Germany, and building in your home centers + Not having anywhere to go with your new units in your home centers (can't go south west) = An imminent attack on Scandinavian countries.

I like the fact that you agreed to let Klick take North Sea, maybe if you commit to a full fledged plan for a couple of years, then Klick could see reason in supporting GB?

Although with the present situation, my priority is to confirm my allegiance to my allies. Supporting Russia against Germany is something that can work for the both of us, but the same can't be said about GB without a concrete plan.

If we had been allied, I wouldn't have to worry about explaining my long term goals. Honestly, I see me as a support nation and one that helps support my ally into a power house that can roll over the rest of Europe giving us a joint victory. I just don't see a way for us to gain supply inland without help from someone already inland but we need to offer supply in order to get that support. See what I'm saying? Basically I fear my long term goal is to just support another nation to victory and hope they take us with them and being on the water helps with that.

Short term goal? Push France into taking the coast line so that they can no longer fight us on the water. Then we push Scandinavia back and work from there. If we even make it that far, then I can think about the next move.

@Snakes- yeah I already submitted that btw. Good suggestion.

I don't think so, but not having a clear picture of how we are going to go with the alliance, and AcRv's 233 being a fence sit seems to be something that I would worry about.

"We will support where we can, but us actively entering your territory is just off." (could be) = We will support anyone into Denmark, but we wouldn't enter it ourselves.

"Or Scandinavia. But they're our friends too." (could be) = We are thinking about stabbing Scandinavia, but they are our friends at the moment.

I think you're just reading too much into it, Gale. I saw AcRv's post as saying "Belgium/Holland building a fleet meant they were coming after us or our allies in Scandinavia and we couldn't have that." I never thought about stabbing you, and I would be shocked if DN or AcRv thought about it either.

Maybe guys, that was just my initial reaction to that post.

Anyways, let me explain myself here. I thought that going into StP is the best move because:

A) If Random did mean to go into StP, when he said that he won't move into Baltic Sea (888), then we would both bounce off StP thus allowing Axxle to continue the game.
I was hoping that he would reply to my post 1008 before deadline, but ... Sorry Axxle

B) AcRv leaving Edinburgh and occupying Norwegian Sea (instead of bouncing with me there), allows for us to have a chance to either take Edinburgh from North Sea or take Norwegian Sea (as a sure shot) next turn.

I hope that it works out for us in the long run, otherwise I would just curse myself for screwing us up
