It was known from the get go and in the role PM.

It's entirely different from an SK randomly changing alignments.

@davsto- I hear you regarding the setup being unusual...but I don't think it is novel. Every role is straight from the wiki. Novel would imply something new! that needed explanation. Like, when you are killed you auto-neighborize the last 2 on your wagon ... Or each night you chose two players, and one targets the other only you don't know what their role is (holy shit that's a great idea...they both are!)...or something like that!
Even things that have been done, like diceroll sanity or something might be considered 'novel'.... But these were all straight roles!

But I hear you. Closed setups are frustrating sometimes. And getting killed N1 sucks too, trust me I am aware!

Yeah, I see that your definition of novel is different to mine :P

I would describe novel as a setup... that is like a gimmick setup? Like, the roles can be normal and all, but the setup itself is weird and non-traditional and revolves around something like an oddly large amount of a role which the setup focuses on as a result, etc.

Though in truth here, night action results were quite minimized!
The setup here intentionally relied mainly on day play, and day play won out in the end!
It was practically totally vanilla!

But you are right... I could have billed it as role madness or something more telling. I just think the uncertainty was PART of the setup.
That's why I put it in the theme queue instead of the normal. To allow for it being different.
I almost though I would get rejected over to the Normal queue though, except hydras.

Aye! Sorry for having a go at you.

Although, reading through the dead thread, Katsuki, that potshot at me behind my back which I couldn't see or reply to because I had been restricted from the thread was uncalled for and rather shitty behaviour if you asked me. Shame on you for that. Thankfully camn had the maturity to move the topic on after.

I don't think camn or katsuki are winning any awards for maturity nor not engaging in shitty behaviour.

knowing that a town is power heavy is different from knowing that unless we use our magical powers we are getting caught killing people in the night
