Entering a band which hasn't been entered since the fifth song contest. Deciding which song to choose right now.

Argh, I am honestly struggling to decide between two songs...

Central African Republic – I’ve barely gone back to explore late 60’s/70’s prog much, never been able to get too into most of it. And I listened to Thick as a Brick once a few years back but it didn’t really do a lot for me. I quite dig the sound of this though, the flute adds some nice flavor, the guitar/bass lines are strong, the noisy drumming creates a nice frantic feel, the vocals have a lot of personality. It’s aged quite well too, doesn’t sound particularly dated to my ears, so. Yeah, can definitely dig this. I should probably look into more Jethro Tull at some point, alongside Yes and Genesis and all the other early prog bands I’ve barely explored the discography of. (GOOD)

For the record, the particular album this song is from (Stand Up) isn't really a prog rock album, this was before Tull really became prog rock and is just more of a rock album - they became prog around Aqualung.

The frontman of Jethro Tull (Ian Anderson) is a flautist, so basically every Tull song has a flute in, just to let you know.

For the record, I was struggling between choosing the one I chose (For a Thousand Mothers), Bourée or Locomotive Breath.
