Exactly, it's more beneficial to scum to not pair up at all unless they have some super OP role... or something like what SS has.
Town pairing with each other means scum can 2x kill, Town/Scum pairing means scum is in a bind.

Also i found some flaws that i mentioned in my lover PT.
For example if a scum is paired with town and that town is getting lynched they can breakup before the lynch goes through.
Additionally scum can breakup with town before NKing them.
While town is going overall blindly.

If it's run again, i'd probably reconsider my stance on it being townie to pair up, and effectively risking being just VT for the sake of preventing multiple town deaths is better, but of course, in a marathon i dont have time to think of these implications, and i completely overlooked the breakup abuse.

I just think that while the mechanic is nice, it needs a lot of work, but im pretty sure your reviewers will help you with that when the time comes.
