Spent probably too much of my time playing this last weekend.

Thought I would main

I enjoy a variety of shooters. If I get this i will probably main
Soldier 76 (He plays like he is from COD or Halo)
Junkrat (I feel he is most tf2 like character and i love explosives, probably gonna be my main main)
Roadhog (I was on a pro UT clan back in the day, i<3flak cannons)
Lucio (Seems like most fun support imo)

Now that I have played this, I am maining

Attack: 1)Reaper - 2)76
Defend: 1)Junkrat - 2)Hanzo
Tank: 1)Winston - 2)Reinhart
Support: 1)Symetra - 2)Lucio

I play characters that require little aim outside 76. Junkrat feels really good on koth to spam the hill when attacking and defend paths with spam. Biggest streak was 12 with junk and 17 with symetra.

Also I got my first legendary out of the 3rd loot box I ever opened. It was the scavenger skin for Dva. I'd like to get better with her because of it, but I feel Tanks need to shield their teammates. Take damage for their teammates, and I feel Winston and Reinhardt do that best

I sort of had fun with my first time on this. Finding it hard to get good at this game so I'm not sure how long my interest for this game will hold up but please add me. I'd love to play whenever I have time. Not today though.

This sniper riffle would be high impact built for long range only that would be shit at close range

Shift ability = Put up a little defensive barrier you can hide behind for a short time
E ability =

Bullet that can heal ally it hits

Ultimate = Temporary cloak for yourself

Okay...how do you win against 2 torbjun's and a bastion? because if this game is literally just like.. running into a bunch of automated turrets and a camper..this is a giant waste of money.

Pharah can deal with torbjorn turrets alright too.

Basically the game centers around a lot of counter mechanics and the cheese isn't all that great once you get the right picks.

idk man. this game is kinda dumb. I quit playing CoD when it got dumb. This game seems to have started dumb. IDK what Favour the Shooter is. But I doubt that's why no one takes damage in this game. Just got 21 kills. Still felt like I wasn't doing any damage and didn't help the team win.

mmmm. I was on the number 1 ranked CoD4 and MW2 teams. I'm like..legit great at FPS games. These interactions seem legitmately unfair and unfun.

Favour the Shooter means the latency is favoured towards the Shooter. Therefore, some projectiles will register as hitting you even though you don't see it hit you because latency. The Shooter sees it hit you.

The fact you aren't hitting anything is just cause you're new and learning curve.

I'm hitting though. I see it hit like crazy. The bullets just don't do any damage. I'm playing D.Va. Will tee off on torbjun or bastion for like...10 seconds without any response. then I die to either turret damage or bastion shooting me 3 times.

Just got number 1 in kills and damage. Wasn't even available for MVP vote.

KOTH is fun. The attack defend games are not fun.

I prefer KOTH too. Some of the attack/defend maps need some serious balance tweaks.

Yeah, my Koth games are already fine. The defend/attack and the Bastion sits on tank game modes are not great.

Edit: I think I got relegated to the bad players lane after my first two games because there are no more torbjun's. And in the no Tordjun games, I am basically a walking 10+ killstreak. Does D.va have a range issue? Is there a girl like D.va that does more long range damage but still not a girl with 100 hp?

yes, dva has a MASSIVE range issue. Her gun is more like a shotgun than anything.

yea, part of the skill of overwatch is learning who is good against who and swapping characters
