I think that sounds right, but because of that an already active Synapse Boost theoretically should still work, since it wasn't anted this turn, and it's not bringing it above the printed value?

Though, it technically is still an anted card, and the text doesn't actually say anything about this turn, it just seems assumed. That is still important to know, mostly because of the modules that don't raise Power, Priority, or Range.

No matter what happens this beat, I don't see myself not getting hit with a Rocket. I could try to clash with a Rocket Wrench using Pruning, but then you'd just Burst and there would be nothing I could do about that, even a shot would miss. I think my only option here is to hope you don't notice the fact that Rocket Wrench is a 6 Priority attack that would do 7 damage, and I have no way of escaping from.

Yeah, I think there was literally nothing I could do to actually get a favorable outcome that beat. Even if I did manage to stun you, you would have just used Wrench to deactivate everything so you could use them again later. Like I said, now you just win.

I think actually my main problem this game is exactly the same as one of the biggest problems from the last one. I got stunned out of my Drive. That completely halts any momentum that I could possibly have and gives someone with any range whatsoever several turns to just do whatever they want.

Though the fact that I put Shot in Discard 1 didn't help either. I regretted that so much once I actually started figuring out what move I wanted to do.

After this realization, I definitely want to use Lixis again. You use who you want.

I think the Something Awful forums have some sort of community that plays this, and they're the ones who are making the references. I knew they weren't official, and for this game in particular, there was two different ones for Clive, one of which had incorrect information, so you'd think I would know better. I don't know if they wanted to rebalance things or if they were just wrong, but yeah, not happening again.

And using the finisher was an accident. I thought about that move for like 10 seconds, as opposed to the usual 5-60+ minutes.
