No matter what happens this beat, I don't see myself not getting hit with a Rocket. I could try to clash with a Rocket Wrench using Pruning, but then you'd just Burst and there would be nothing I could do about that, even a shot would miss. I think my only option here is to hope you don't notice the fact that Rocket Wrench is a 6 Priority attack that would do 7 damage, and I have no way of escaping from.

Yeah, I think there was literally nothing I could do to actually get a favorable outcome that beat. Even if I did manage to stun you, you would have just used Wrench to deactivate everything so you could use them again later. Like I said, now you just win.

Pruning Lance
Okay, I mostly just want to see how paranoid you think I am about the Burst.

Even if I don't actually have a chance here, I would still prefer that the game actually gets that closure. If you're not busy now, it shouldn't take too long. Probably.

I think actually my main problem this game is exactly the same as one of the biggest problems from the last one. I got stunned out of my Drive. That completely halts any momentum that I could possibly have and gives someone with any range whatsoever several turns to just do whatever they want.

Though the fact that I put Shot in Discard 1 didn't help either. I regretted that so much once I actually started figuring out what move I wanted to do.

I've been using that as a reference, because the wiki takes up too much memory, and even though I have a text file that I wrote everything into, with the correct information, it's hard to read. Next time I'm triple checking my reference pictures instead of double checking.

After this realization, I definitely want to use Lixis again. You use who you want.

I think the Something Awful forums have some sort of community that plays this, and they're the ones who are making the references. I knew they weren't official, and for this game in particular, there was two different ones for Clive, one of which had incorrect information, so you'd think I would know better. I don't know if they wanted to rebalance things or if they were just wrong, but yeah, not happening again.

And using the finisher was an accident. I thought about that move for like 10 seconds, as opposed to the usual 5-60+ minutes.

Also not really of note, at least 14 (now 15) of the posts in this topic contain the word "Yeah." The search function can't find any "Yup"s so I have no clue what else it's missing, and now's not the time to figure that out.

I have no clue why that stands out to me, I guess I find looking at my speech patterns from an outside perspective amusing.
