Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control (1997)
Can I describe this doco? Not...really. Not to the degree it deserves. It follows four men: A topiary grower, an MIT scientist, a lion tamer, and a hairless molerat expert. It follows them and displays what they have in common, and how different they are. It's a fascinating exploration of passion, bravery, creativity. Humanity. It's a story I haven't heard told in any other medium in any other way. It's closer to a bar conversation of "yeah I had this experience at work" "Well that reminds me of this experience that I had". It's magical and strange and wonderful. And it makes me cry almost every time.
