Sure, A New Hope would be trailing in graphics if released today, but it still has a very good story. Unlike Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, which was awful 25 years ago and would probably go down as the worst movie ever if released today, assuming anyone actually bothered to go see it. Of course you can tear apart almost every classic movie based on poor quality if it were re-released today including Star Trek which would be at even more of a disadvantage to Star Wars if they were both released today.

And maybe because Darth Vader is arguably the most iconic movie villain ever? At least much more iconic than any of the insignificant villains Star Trek has come up with. People are interested in the history of Darth Vader. various Star Trek villains? Not so much.

I mean, a challenge starting at "this time", and ending "this later time"? That's pretty standard, you get that in mafia games all the time, and even if it's a tight deadline of 24 hours, I can guarantee you I'll have access short of some catastrophic internet failure.

Not so much. I never played many marathon games for good reason: they always had that strict scheduling that doesn't mesh well with my OWN scheduling.

do that. At least I think I can. If I can't, then it'll be an unwilling/accidental violation that gets me kicked out, rather than me going, "fuck this!" and quitting.
It's just that it's HELL for someone like me, who has an inconsistent schedule, to outline a whole day's schedule for a forum game, and whether you realize it or not...that's exactly what I'm being asked to do.
